My Promotion Activities For Today - promoting steem in a rural area

Good evening friends,

This is my first post in this lovely community, today I will be telling all about my promotion activities in the rural area, since I joined steemit I grew a super love for the platform and I have been trying my best to take it to the sky.

Today I picked up my promotion shirt and went out to the streets to spread the good news about steemit, with the motive of getting new invites, who would love and serve steemit just as I do, instead of just been obsessed with votes which leads some to protest .

In my little way I have been running promotion activities in my community, although the have been so many challenges like the one I will be listing below 👇,

☑️ In this part of the world where I recently started promoting steemit, the community have not been so technology advanced because the area is filled with old individuals who didn't go to school and are really tech illitrates.

☑️ While the very few youth around are complaining about the cost of data subscription because this area is still a rural are and the cost of leaving is low, infact as of yesterday 1 dollar is worth 800 naira.

But the good things is that the few I talked to where willing but the complained of their financial status, which I don't blame them but the government for its selfish rules, so what I did is that

☑️ Whenever I have data subscription, I do on my mobile hotspot for the new invites to come online and make post, I do this because they few youths I know are of high intelligence and smartness .

☑️ Also I was planning on raising some funds for the few intelligent youth that has the well and desire to blog for steemit to make steem a awesome place for all.

Note: While promoting steemit, I would never tell anyone steemit is a platform that pays for creating articles, instead I would I only say you might get rewarded for creating quality content on steemit too

If you noticed I prefer the word Reward instead of pay because I don't want them not get sad a obsessed with high expectations of getting the payment form steemit, I do this because from my little experience I found out that the interchanging of the word rewards and earning or payment has caused a lot of problem on steemit because the authors were lied to that steemit was going to pay them . As we all know voting on Steemit is not a guarantee but this wrong minded authors always go around fighting Steemcurator01 and the steemit team because their post Don't get votes.

Later today I will contact @sahmie to help me design a promotional banner from his device and I would pay him in Steem, then I will take the soft copy to a cyber cafe to help me print out the banner and give me a hard copy.
