We hereby present our community monthly report as requested by this noble community. This report is going to cover the following

Our community purpose

The purpose of the Steem Kids and Parents community is to provide a space here in Steemit where kids and parents can connect and interact with each other to form uniting bonds that will keep them together as they build their future together. It also provides an enabling environment for healthy learning for the kids as well as the parents. This community has maintained its purpose throughout the month under consideration through our activities. We have not deviated from it.

The official account of this community is @steemkidss.

This month of February, the community account has continued in its growth. Currently, our steem power is 58,004.82 owned sp and a total of 69,943.57 SP effective sp that includes the 11,938.76 delegation from our generous members.

Apart from the delegated steempower, we also have an active curation trail which enables our vote value at 100% upvote and when the account is fully recharged to give +$2.

For April, we tried our best to use these available resources to support both the admins, the moderators and all members at large. This has kept us going to date and we promise to keep building on what we already have with the support we are receiving.

Our community stats

The total number of subscribers is 7,373 and 354 are active as of date. Throughout February, we never went below 150 active users. And this is amazing because we are always trying our best to keep these users active with activities.

The mods actively check publications and review them daily. They take turns to do so despite low support.

We hope to continue in this routine.

All moderators choose the quality of all 6 publications on their review day which in turn are checked and reviewed to ensure that no one has received more than 3 booming votes within 7 days as directed by the Steemit team. We also check to ensure that the booming votes go round and that no one receives more than one in the community except the community account that receives 2 booming votes in a week.

Our contests that helps us to keep the members busy

Contests are our little secret that helps us keep the members active and the community booming with active users and publications. It takes great effort to organize these contests. The majority of the moderators are consistent in hosting their contests.

Apart from the contests, we also post the booming support for each day. This means that we make a daily post to announce the users that we select for each day to encourage them to do more.

Our plans for the current month

For May we plan to

• Keep the users active with our activities like never before. Although the ongoing engagement challenge tends to reduce the number of active users in all communities that aren't selected, we will keep doing our best to retain our active users, at least, not to fall below 100.

• We plan to keep building our steempower through our activeness and powerups. We are currently doing club100 as a community and this shows that the community funds are not withdrawn for other uses. We make use of steempower for our contest rewards.

• This community has continuity in mind and as such, we will present our May report in this community.

Conclusion

We are grateful for this opportunity to present our report here. We hope that we have done Justice to it and pray for continuous opportunity and improvement in areas we aren't doing well.
