Hello fitness enthusiast and the novice, it's a great week to embrace our fitness journey and keep pushing to the limit. This is the third week of fitness training and it is titled "Getting into good shape in few minutes a day."

Upper body as it's the main focus of the week is a crucial part of our body, it consist of various body muscles that needed to be straightened. Our chest, arms, shoulder and etc are all parts of the upper body region, to straighten them, we need some varieties of pushups.

Push up which is commonly known as press up is an effective natural body exercise that can be done without the need of equipment, it trigger the chest(the upper and the lower chest), the arms(triceps and biceps) the shoulder, the back muscles and etc, which in return it posturize the body in a good shape. Push ups consist of bending and uplifting the body in any given situated position and it has several types

Per my teacher decision, we're focusing on three types of pushups, shoulder and upper back push up, pushups for chest and back and the parallel push up. Here's my experience with these push ups.

Shoulder and upper back push up

Shoulder and upper back push up which the official name is pike pushup, is a pushups that tackles the Upper body region, specifically the shoulder and the back muscles. Base on the two mode, my preference goes to the hard mode, i executed the given reps and set ( ten reps in two sets).

Of course, a seconds rest is crucial when exercising so I didn't forgot to maintain a ten seconds rest as instructed, this helps me to regain energy.

Here's another types of pushup that tackles the chest, specifically the upper chest. Base on the three basic mode, i choose to execute the hard mode which as instructed, i tackle ten reps of two sets.

This type of pushups seems simple but intense as it involves stepping the tiptoe in a upper surface above floor while the palm is place in the main floor, then compress down the arm and push ups, the feelings become more intense as i push up in each reps.

parallel push up.

Here comes the parallel push, mainly known as the chair dips pushups. It is practically done by placing the palm backwardly in a chair, as in two sided, the heel is place on top another chair, (that set me in an upward position) then the action begin. Per my performance, I present the below tabular which contains my progress.

EXERCISE.REPS.REST.REPS.
Shoulder and upper back push up.10 reps.10 sec.10 reps.
Pushups for chest and back.10 reps.10 sec.10 sec.
Parallel push up.10 reps.10 sec.10 reps.

Base on the above performance, I present the below videos, a compilation of the three exercises.

In your own words, tell us about your experience and how you felt while doing the exercises.

The feelings is always there, it increases, becomes more intensive the more repetitions I executed. But there's always a different between an experience person and inexperienced person, as an experience person the pains, the stiffness of the arms were felt but it all faded in a short period of time.

You feel happy when you've done something incredible or reach a particular milestone, the same case happened to me; dispite the pains, I was happy because I did something that will properly build me in the future.

In conclusion, pushups is an effective house exercise that keeps individual fitted and healthy, it requires consistency and increase in repetitions; endurance and discipline is also needed, this is why we choose to go the hard way.

¡Saludos amigo!🤗
