Happy Caturday! 😸😽

Being as it’s Saturday, I slept in! I seem to need recovery sleep from the workweek, even though my workweek is only a three day one! I am so glad I only work part time because if I worked full time, I might not get up at all on Saturdays! 🙀

Being as @silvertop needed some trim stain for the two new windows we now have in the bedroom, a trip to Bellingham was a necessity. At the Home Depot as we waited for it to be mixed, I headed for the plants as usual. I came home with a lovely specimen of what I know as a dumb cane plant and added it to my indoor greenhouse. It’s toxic to kitties, so I need to make sure they can’t get at it. The greenhouse ensures this.

There were also a couple of things from Walmart that was needed, so we stopped in. Most probably don’t realize that the heating and AC is controlled by the home office in Bentonville, Arkansas, which has never been logical. The sensors in the units aren’t dependable, so it’s almost always too hot in there in the summer, and too cool in the winter. Today, it was too hot and muggy! It did not make for an enjoyable experience!

I’d received a Starbucks gift card this week, so we headed there for a mocha frappe. We both felt much revived after consuming it! ☕️😁

This afternoon, we headed out for a hike. Enjoy the eye candy!

Tomorrow will find us headed to the last of the later service for the month. July will have one combined service beginning an hour earlier. Here’s to hoping we can get up, lol!
