What's That Light In The Sky?............. NW Cascade Wanderings

Today started just like all mornings lately-grey with the threat of rain. Then-it appeared! A light so bright as to be a bit blinding! I saw shadows cast as I’ve not seen in days! What is this light, you ask? It was the elusive sunlight that has been glaringly absent around here for quite some time! I really wasn’t quite sure how to react, lol!

It stayed out most of the afternoon enabling me to roast the 7 pounds of coffee I needed to roast, on solar power. 😁🌞 I’ve got a cut off for roasting coffee on the 10th of December. I’ll resume after the New Year, but I aim to enjoy the Christmas season this year unlike last year. If you remember, I was in training for the new software system at work and it really took the joy out of the season for me.

Unfortunately getting outside to enjoy the sunshine wasn’t happening. I’m still in a lot of pain and hiking right now might do more harm than good. I do move around the house doing stuff but with frequent breaks of resting my right leg and hip. It’s seriously irritating as I don’t want to just sit around! 😬

Enjoy some lovely ‘shroom photos!

That’s gonna be it for now. Tomorrow sees me headed to ladies Bible study. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌎🙏
