Day two of Silvertop’s home improvements!😊
With “Summer” really here in the Pacific Northwest, Silvertop had his eye on replacing two older bedroom windows with Low-E argon filled vinyl clad sliding windows!😇
“ Heading out “ is the construction term of roughing in the new window opening, complete with a new “header” that will carry the roof load across the window opening!😊
“ Not to worry Cot, everything is OK my boy! “ 😇
I have learned that Cats, and “Baby Mountain Lion’s” absolutely do not like ANY change!😻
Running a demolition sawzall in HIS bedroom, during nap time, had Cot running to quieter places, where that MONSTER couldn’t find him!😸
He was stressed……………..😮
By 2 o’clock the old 4 foot X 3 foot window was removed, and a larger 4 foot X 4 foot rough opening was ready for the new window.
On Saturday the Mrs and Silvertop will run to town to pick up the new window, and it will quickly drop into the opening!☺️
I temporarily plywood sealed the window opening, so Cot doesn’t go on hikes without Dad!😻
Cot sniffed the plywood…………..
Things are not the way they were before, not the way things should be!…..……….😳
“ Soon you will have your window back Cot, it will be much larger, so you can watch all the “birdies” outside! “ 😻
“ You take a nap my boy, I know you have had a very hard stressful day! Dad’s going on a hike, I need to check on our neighbors empty vacation cabin, I’ll be back soon! “ 😇
Cot just stared at the blank opening on the bedroom wall……………
He was guarding the bedroom from the return of “the monster” Lol! 😺
“ Liz, I will soon need to do the second window…….poor Cot! “ 🙄
