A leadership contest

what would it look like, nasty men bullying, mean women pulling hair, men backstabbing gossiping, women using their nails saying 'this isn't fair'?

A certain minister comes to mind. He started his party after he opened his mouth and ended up with a 'burnout' at home. I can't help thinking it was all part of the game. People felt for him blah blah blah.
Right before the elections, he showed up again, blah blah blah and as the opposite won he was in charge of making parties cooperate to form a new government. Of course, he didn't, he had a 'burnout' again. Again? Yes, indeed again. Such a guy makes a bad leader, he's a manipulative crybaby, a drama king.

Guess, what? He had another burnout, stayed home, and a miracle happened. Now don't tell me good did this since I don't buy it, all of a sudden his party was... Well, not reigning since there's still no official government but you know what I mean.

Does this story feel familiar? Is the one who reigns with you incapable, senile, backstabbing and you have strong doubts s/he won the contest by fair playing trust your guts. Your instinct is never wrong and no matter how hard you try to fool yourself, saying this was fair play, we the people did vote for the best candidate know you are... Yes, you are fooling yourself if a contest is won by a senile person with burnout, screaming 'This is unfair', 'You are stupid and discriminate' or 'You all are terrorists if you don't vote for me!'

If you and I would behave this way not even a fish would give its vote let alone they would say you are qualified for the job of a leader unless...
Unless someone else pulls the strings and needs a puppet to take the fall. A puppet that wouldn't notice because s/he's crazy and will end up in a mental institution anyway.

Wake up, there's no fair play and we do not vote. All we do is show if we agree or are the enemy that should be destroyed.
