ᔕᑕᗷ Week Chit-Chat (9/9 - 15/9)
What happened last week? It feels like ages ago but it isn't or?
Let's see the week started with my birthday and my brother and those few I know gave me a good laugh (thank you my dears). The rest of the week I was busy with moderating, the team True Colours and the Teaching Team. The result was that I skipped a few nights' sleep to read, read, read, and read, and although tired (no, rest and naps at daytime are no part of life where I live you work, work and work, and if you lack time you work and skip your sleep) I had a great time reading in silence without being disturbed.
Not so great is the fact I am disturbed constantly and my phone doesn't like all those notifications and chats it get's frozen. Since it is otherwise fine I decided to switch off the notifications (I already did that) so I can continue what I do. I can't if disturbed meaning it takes me 5 hours longer to type.
I wish the comment section was bigger too because I can't see much and it's not very inviting if it comes to writing longer comments. I am curious how you do it @grebmot @el-nailul @rashid001 you write longer comments and so do you @patjewell. How on earth can you see what you type or check it for typos?
It rained for some days and the temp inside dropped to about 15 degrees Celsius which isn't cool (cold though) so I had to dig up my winter clothes, pajamas, and duvet. Summer was very short and not one of us over here is looking forward to 8 months of cold. Fingers crossed the temp on Earth will be increased before November starts!
I went twice to Ikea for the couch searches. The first shop was the dirtiest one I ever saw (does the company know) and there wasn't much available. Last Sunday we went to another shop which was the opposite although so crowded it looked as if we were at a theme park. We found the couches so @ibesso can sit unless we can't get them inside the house (that would be a boomer) and we have to break the windows (also small) out of the walls. Fingers crossed this isn't needed. It's clear the one who built the house never thought about how to get a couch or some bigger furniture inside (I had a home like that before, the hallway was so small you could never take the turn into the living unless what you have is a shopping bag or backpack.
We were back home late and just like the other time we drove to Ikea I tried to help out Steemians in need. This was the last time so you are warned. If I say I am off this means I need time for me and my family
By the way I hosted a contest in knack4buzz which no one joins (great, because I received a good upvote and just like you guys and like all the money for myself).. If you don't join you can still watcht the candle, it's a cute one (just don't tell your children this is real).
@goodybest how are your stories doing? @yaladeeds hier is the place to be, you missed nothing and I hope you didn't visit Venice without me.

P.s. For some reason Tuesday is always more relaxed and even emptied the small living (and the foot of the TV broke, not that we used it the past months/years but still.).
O No ! The birthday party is over and I just realized it, :-( . Steemit is indeed a very wide platform, and it's impossible to reach everywhere on your own unless someone mentions you. But i am sure you guys can join me on friday at mine 40th.
I was never one to be late, but now I feel like I'm becoming slower. My whole week was spent with unnecessary thoughts. I know your workload has increased a lot. You should also pay attention to your rest. Otherwise, your health might deteriorate, and that would be difficult. So take care and keep smiling.

I will take the balloon, I also have heart-shaped ones but to get air in it isn't easy. There are also great ones that look like marble or more as if they are painted.

I barely check for typos honestly. Most of the times I'm not sure how to write stuff correctly in the first place, so it's more or less just me winging it. Then hours later I reread my stuff and end up editing it. ChatGPT is nice, in theory, but doesn't seem reliable in terms of not altering your texts beyond the typos. So I dislike using it besides having it stroke my ego.
Other than that I developed my ramble powers in seedy chatrooms and dumb message boards. Much to the detriment of whoever I was flooding at the time.

Good for you! I only realize now how much time I spend away from my family. Yes, we were in the same house, but I only knew one place, and that was the study, my laptop, and Steemit. I missed my father-in-law's 80th birthday because I was "too busy."
