Now I understand what makes you dislike diary and contest. I think the reason most people prefer join contest and diary is to get support because I noticed that it's not easy to get support by posting on a personal blog especially for newcomers. Am saying this from experience because sometimes I will like my post to be seen to be visible and to be supported by whales and I feel like participating in contest is one way of getting to the destination. What do you think?

And if you love to write why not comment? If it's a long comment you can also copy the text and post it and use the hashtag #comment. I did it several times and mentioned the post or text I commented.
