RE: SP Delegations - Curators' Opinion x bot/community
Thank you Kitty for tagging me, first of all I love reading your posts and comments they are very different from any others because you write what you think and you are direct that is not common in social media.
I remember we were talking about Upvote bots and also about support or not support by SCx accounts.
I think in e very single case it is different and also the same. To tell the truth it was time few years ago when I also delegated to Upvu a half of Sp and with the other half I used to support others. You probably can guess that the amount of people who were commenting and visiting my blog dramatically reduced. Despite of that I continued to do Crowdfunding and highlighting others and the Steemit Team continued to support such Initiative. After about 6 months I returned my delegation and doing manual upvotes as well as autovotes (BTW I probably need to write about autovotes too when I have time)
In my opinion, the mechanism of delegating to Upvotebots and also to Communities has similarity, even now we receive often the messages when the communities asking for delegation in response offer their Upvote, of course , majority of communities are small but for users with small SP it is a good chance to get any upvote.
I also agree community account and delegations, it was again time before you joined there were few community accounts that closed down the account and left Steemit with all the earned SP, the other community needed to give to all the users the Steem but it was much less so people got angry about all the stuff.
In my opinion I would not put everyone on the same scale like delegated then you are a bad guy and if support or not support should be decided in every single case separately.
You have made it clear that it is not as black and white as painted and to know whether someone adds something to Steemit all aspects have to be taken into account and figuring that out takes too much time or lies to the relevant moderator or curator.
The uovotebot story is still not entirely clear to me and neither is how much can be earned with this as an investor. An investor, which is anyone who leaves their Steem in the wallet, and they will definitely want to make a profit (let their money work for them.
Following a comment in 'Monkey Business' it has become clear to me that Steem is not attractive to investors for 2 reasons (3?):
1 it is more for the long term
2 burnsteem does not sound attractive
(3 an investor has to post to make a profit?)
When it comes to followers to my opinion those who only stay for one's wallet or the high prizes they are rewarded with... They should nicely find another idiot. (new topic 'followers'?)
I never made a friend with giving upvotes nor with paying prize money.🤔
Perhaps a piece of jealousy that someone else succeeds in something you can't manage yourself?
As far as being a curator is concerned, fear of not being allowed to curate again, being noticed, the own 'norms and values', the power to decide who is/isn't good, perhaps more income in the long run and much more (preference for a subject, feeling of injustice) will definitely also play a role in who gets an upvote and who doesn't.
Thanks for sharing your thought and experiences. How many if those followers you upvoted and dumped you are today where you are? For sure this can be interesting to figure out.
🍀♥️
There are couple of reasons why Steem is attractive for Investors, here is our old friend @karja, who stopped posting few years ago, but set his account to automatic curation of users around 3 minute, having 300K SP he earns curation reward appr. 200 Steem a day
To burnsteem like it is now on Steemit it will not make Steem value to go up, because the amount that burnt is too low and it is done by only small acount. The suggestion to introduce Burnsteem automatically for everyone who is posting less % but for all would probably make its different but the big account did not want that.
When an Investor wants to post too then for him it is beneficial to Delegate to Upvote bot because then he gets daily automated curation by large account and gets daily dividends. This way they can still withdraw Steem after receiving rewards from posts too.
So there are three reasons and that is why Investors who are here will not leave so long they can earn this way
I think if this can be said in short (pamflet) it is the method to attract investors. 🤔
