You guys destroyed our house
What exactly do you want
We never saw the morning light and sunshine again
You keep coming and destroying our hopes

What did we do wrong
While other countries will celebrate Eid al-Fitr with fireworks
You gave us bullets that crushed the stomachs of our children
But we will not give up looking for the light

What did we do wrong
Thousands of giant rhinos you sent here
Thousands of birds flew over our sky
Thousands and thousands more of your ants send to our earth

Light come and shine on us
Wind remove and blow this dust as far as possible
It rains and cleanses our earth
We just want to be happy like everyone else.
