**Am grateful to the @steemschool for this artwork contest..also grateful to @steemwarriors and his subordinate for making this community a dream come through!!!

**On this contest I will show you guys how to sketch..

MY ARTWORK CONTEST ENTRY

**Tools I used in drawing!!!

**pencil(derwent pencil):As an art man this usually for the sketch of the object or drawing you want to carry on with.. It has a sharpen which has the sketch more thick and sharpen in contrast in other to make the artwork solid... That was what I used in sketching..

**paper and hardback sketch board

**whether you are working for a design portfolio or new logo design a sketch board is one of the major art tool required for creative drawing and one of which is sure to meet the required sketch..

**Whitecolour paper

**Whitecolour paper, I used Langton satin smooth hot pressed for most of my work but you can use any smooth one it your choice, then I used my derwent pencil to sketch my image on the white colour paper. After doing the sketch I used Hb pencil go make the sketch thick and sharpened to others viewers choice and then head on with my shapes and curves I had to make to make the image look similar..

**Others tool include(pen, HB pencil, crayons or acrylic paint(it your choice) masonite,mahl stick, erasers, brushes, vanishes, palette, easels,

**thirdly

**I now used the HB pencils and the black crayon to colour the face a little bit and when it was much I used the eraser to enrase the painting a bit and it became moderate.. I then used the to clean the Whitecolour paper to avoid rough work and sketch to my ending point of the image....

**fourth

** I used the mahl stick to dull the facial and top of the image I painted with crayon, I now used my derwent pencil to renew the sketch to make the work look more sharp and cooperate,

**lastly

**I now made use of some of my watercolours, crayon, easels, mahl stick, derwent pencil, HB pencils, Pen, eraser and brush to make it look presentable to the subordinate, by re-sketching the image for final round, use the crayon to colour it once more, to make it similar to the original image and the eraser to correct much colour on any part of the sketched image and my brush to clean out the dirty and make it look clean...
