Bireuen Resort Police Chief (Kapolres) AKBP Jatmiko, SH MH accompanied by Main Officials and the Muspika held a Heartfelt Friday (Curhat), Friday (28/6/2024) with Fishermen in Peudada, Bireuen.
Head of Public Relations for the Bireuen Police, Inspector Marzuki, said that the Friday Confidential activity with fishermen was held on a boat that was docked at the TPI, Peudada District. The police chief together with fishermen and other elements sat together on the boat and conveyed various messages and appeals.
In the Friday confide activity, the Bireuen Police Chief invited all fishermen to work together with the community to eradicate the practice of online gambling and drug trafficking which is currently very disturbing among the wider community.
"I invite all fishermen in Peudada District in particular, let's together eradicate and prevent the practice of online gambling and drug trafficking as our common task," he said.
Currently online gambling and drugs have penetrated all walks of life and age levels, starting from children, teenagers and the elderly, for this reason the Police Chief hopes that everyone will work together in eradicating the practice of online gambling and drug abuse.
Previously, Friday morning, the Bireuen Police Chief and environmental officials at the Police Headquarters, Kodim 0111/Bireuen at around 07.00 WIB, Friday (28/6/2024) held a coffee morning on the road in front of Bank Aceh Syariah together with residents, pedicab drivers and other elements.
