Introduction

Hello steemians and the good people of this wonderful community. This is my first post in the community and I'll be participating in the current contest. In this contest, the contestant is required to explain and discuss how we can attract new investors and new users who are also potential investors to steemit. There are certain strategies which we can put in place to attract new users and investors to the platform. But before I go on to discuss them let me explain something.

Who Is An Investor?

An investor can be defined as anybody, be it an single individual or a firm/organisation who is willing to commit their capital into a certain business with the sole aim of making financial profits. The act of commiting capital in order to make financial gains is what we know as investment.

Therefore in this contest I'll be talking about the possible ways which we could attract individuals or firms who are willing to commit their capitals by either bringing nice contents to the platform or by buying the steem coin or SBD.

Attracting New Users And Investors

Since I joined the platform about 16 days ago , I have remained active and have shared my contents in some communities. I'ld consider this my own way of investing for now sinnce I don't have the capital to purchase steem power or SBD. I have also recruited on new user and I plan on recruiting more and I also aim to recruit users that will invest capital. Attracting a new user or convincing an investor is not something that comes easily therefor there things that must me done to gain their interest and prove the platform legit. Below are some methods of convincing new users and investors;

1. Carefully Explain Steemit To Them

With the little experience I've had talking to a few persons about the platform, it is almost impossible for someone to believe that it is not a scam or Ponzi scheme especially considering the concept of making quality contents and getting rewarded. Therefore it lies in the hands of the already existing user to clarify an intending user on what the platform is about. We have to make the new recruit or investor know the steemit is a decentralized blockchain based social media network which rewrs it's user for making quality contents. We have to get them to understand steemit is not a Ponzi, get reach quick scheme or a referral system. All that matters is making quality contents, sticking to rules of the community and ofcourse socializing. The first step of getting an investor is getting them to under this.

2. Explain How Earning Works

There are lots of ways which one can earn on steemit, but from my view there two main ways which a user can earn from steemit platform directly they're below;
i. Author Reward: This is reward which a user earns when he/she recieves an upvote from the other users or curators.
ii. Curation Reward: This reward is earned when a user upvotes other users blogs or posts.
How this explained to the people we aim to attract and convince depends on us, while explaining it is important to be detailed and to be open to any kind of questions. Getting an intending user to understand this aspect is very important. It is also necessary to let them know that one could earn by participating in contests and getting raw steem price from the host or by simply buying and holding the coins and waiting for a price increase.

3. Explain The Reward System

In order for the recruit to properly understand the system, you have to give the breakdown the rewards. Let them know that every upvote is divided into two and rewards don't pay out until after 7 days. It is necessary to explain all these to the person whom you wish to attract to the platform as a capital investor or as a blogger or as both. I don't advice promising anyone riches he/she could make I the system because no one knows for sure, so it is better to just let the person knonh she could make earning but not speculating high amounts for him/her.

The above listed things are things we should put in the minds of our target ( permit me to call the investors/new user target) in other to convince them to partake in the steemit network however we still need to know how to get the attention of these targets. Below I'll list a few ways to get the attention of people;

1. Road Shows: Road show is like a road broadcast to meet people along the road and tell them about the Platform, it would beore effective if the road show is supported with am attire, handbills, fliers or bannera which have the steemit logo on them.
2. Organize Seminar: A seminar to gather poeple and talk to them about steemit, this could be little seminar or a huge one depending of your capability.
3. Radio Talks: Going to radio stations to broadcast the network is also a way of getting the attention of potential investors and new users to join the system.
4. Visit Reputable Offices: Visiting a reputable offices to meet the persons in these offices is also a way of getting investors who may not have the time to blog but may purchase and stake steem coins.

Conclusion

The aboved discussed ways are the ways I fill one could get and secure an investor or new user for steemit. I am open to discuss other ways and learn new things in my comments.
