Is it hard for you to find a job?
Greetings, steemers!
If any of you is actually reading this, can you answer my question? from the title, yeah
I mean, is it so hard nowadays to find a job, or is it just me?
I think I may be doing something wrong... Or perhaps there is something I'm NOT doing and should be doing.
Why am I posting this/ asking this here on Steemit?
Well, I'm simply used to think that Steemit users -like me- are desperately looking for a source of income. That makes me think that many of you would understand what I'm going through, which is trying to find a job, and not finding it.
I'm 31 years old now, so I'm not that young anymore, and there is something happening to me that makes me sad, or should I say "sadder"? well, more sad. When I was younger I used to see job announcements having as a requirement that applicants had to be 30 years old or older to get the job; now that I'm +30, I see things changed, there seems to be no more jobs available for 30-year-old people! It's sad for me to see so many young people getting jobs. I don't even understand how. I'm kinda jealous, no lie.
See, I've had a few jobs in my life. The fact that I don't have one now doesn't mean I've never worked, believe me. But I have to admit I've been wasting a lot of time on the search for freelance jobs on the internet while I should be going out there more often (cause in fact, I do) looking for one, especially considering there are no longer COVID restrictions.
So, I don't know. maybe it is just me who's not trying harder, maybe I'm the problem, who knows?
Can any of you relate to what I'm saying? I just wanna know that, thanks.
