We are a company dedicated to training in all branches of specialty coffees, where we offer the most current information and techniques from field production, roasting, Barismo and cupping.

Barista Academy emerges as a business that wants to go on a large scale, all over the world offering training courses and consultancies not only in Venezuela, where the main headquarters are located. We want to approach and enter the most hidden corners and the most prominent, to publicize the benefits of specialty coffees, highlight the hard work of the coffee farmer in the field and that the consumer can receive a drink with high quality standards.

The academy instructs and trains mainly baristas or those who want to be one and this in its definition in the coffee field, is a coffee professional, who is trained to be in charge of extracting the best aromatic notes and flavors of these beans, both in a espresso bar, as in alternative extraction methods known as brews, adding a correct presentation to each cup of coffee and a design that dazzles, since barismo is also art and one of the techniques is called Latte Art, which impresses to the consumer and to everyone in general.

At Barista Academy Lechería we take care of:

• Dictate courses. The most valuable information that can be offered so that those who want to venture not only in the bar but also in everything related to coffee, is willing to innovate. Botany and specialty coffee production, post-harvest handling, coffee roasting, Barismo, Latte Art and cupping are some of the modules we offer.

• Tastings, talks and events that promote the best coffees in the area, in addition to encouraging the culture of specialty coffees in the city.

• Advice to coffee shop. Making possible each dream and each new great endeavor, transforming the image and flavor of coffee into exquisiteness and presentation.

Each workshop taught is the discovery of a new talent and many more learnings, between opinions, continuous dialogues, learning is reinforced, generating new knowledge for newcomers to this medium and not so new baristas and / or for everyone Who wants to know more about coffee and preparation techniques.

Our courses have been successfully achieved, meeting the needs of each apprentice and coffee enthusiasts.

Our instructors are certified by the SCA or Specialty Coffee Association, both in Barismo and Brewing, Roasting, Sensory Skills and other learning modules. They also have training certificates in other branches of the chain such as Specialty Coffee Production, post-harvest handling and others. They also hold important positions within Associations of Coffee Producers and Roasters.

In the very near future we want to be certified as a training center of the Specialty Coffee Association to be able to issue these certificates of recognition worldwide. For this, it is necessary to improve our equipment and make the respective request for certification before this institution, which generates an additional investment.
