Promoting Steemit to My Japanese and American Friends in Japan and Celebrating “My 2,000 Steem Power” for 3 Months of Active Posting and Power Up!

Am I a trustworthy Steemian? Should be the first question that we ask ourselves as a member of this platform.

For almost three months of being active, it brings me joy that in my Steemit journey I reached 2,000 steempower and 818 followers. All of my sleepless nights, all the efforts that I exerted during writing were paid off. Slowly investing my SBD to buy steem. I have no regrets whatsoever, and I will continue to invest in steem because I believe in steemit and its solid investment ground.

Though sometimes, many will withdraw their SBD, especially if it has huge value. But as you can have seen in my wallet, I rarely withdraw, and only do it to either buy steem or finance my charity events. I want to become a mature steemian that has their minds set on investment because it is what is necessary for Steemit. Always withdrawing, especially the steem decreases the value of it. What’s worse is that it will become like last time, where the steem value was almost nothing.

Self-growth on steemit? I keep on powering up and at the same time bought steem and made it a habit. That’s why the first three months that I was back from hiatus, I was able to save this much steem power. Now, I have SBD in my wallet to buy steem again. I am planning to do it weekly. Many steemian wishes for self-growth on themselves, but they did not do a thing to improve and instead, kept on withdrawing their earnings. If you want to help steemit, start by helping yourself first. There are tons of blogs on how to power up and how to invest on steemit. I invited my Japanese friend to a restaurant named Matchikura Hiruko and introduced steemit to her. She is a workmate of mine here in Japan and lives somewhat near the apartment I stayed. This is the first time she has heard about steemit, and she was fascinated. She said that she would be telling her kids about steemit. Here in Japan, steemit users and steemit itself are elusive and are not known yet. If ever I come back to the Philippines, I will make sure that the legacy of steemit will remain here.

While on a grocery stroll, I met James. He is an American air force that works here in Japan. I did not expect to talk to him, but I saw an opportunity to meet him and introduce him to steemit. He, like my Japanese friend, was fascinated as it is his first time hearing about blogging that pays writers and a form of investment. I encouraged him to do some research about steemit and understand the platform. I hopes that he eventually makes an account. In the following days, I will be following up on their progress in coming days.

I hope that by doing these powerups and meetups, everyone can be inspired to become a responsible steemian. I know that it is difficult to power up, and the others have an urge to withdraw, especially with the pandemic fiasco where most of us are jobless. By letting us put it in our minds that sharing can improve steemit for the benefit of many.
