PromoSteem Journey #5 [55 USER REGISTERED] Explaining What Steemit Is, Guiding Them and Teaching Directly Basic of Steemit: A Guide for Newcomers [10% @steemcoffeeshop]
This post is a report on PromoSteem's activities that continue by directly nurturing newcomers who have joined to teach introductions and basics of Steemit.

Plan for Meetup
Not long ago after our second Meet Up at a food stall with the chairman of the Sahara Club (Studio Language and Literature). Three days later, kak @dhiyanmz brought his team of about 15 people asking for a re-meeting to discuss and learn about Steemit.
It was beyond expectations because I didn't plan to hold a follow-up meeting. Because that day I had activities out of town. However, because of kak @dhiyanmz's request, I fulfilled the request because most of the younger siblings were students and students.
Long story short, a meeting was arranged at a beach, at first I thought the meeting would be in a cafe or food stall again, because the taste would be more optimal and I could explain directly with my laptop as in the previous meeting.
But maybe because it was still too early, at around 10.30 there were no food stalls open and some of them came by public transportation. So it will be difficult to divert them to another place. And after thinking about it, it's better if we just have a lesehan on the grass on the beach.
We make the meeting as relaxed as possible, not too formal and not too serious so that they can understand and understand well.
Explaining What is Steemit
After they found out, I immediately told the experiences that I got during my 3 years working on Steemit, what I got, what I learned, and how Steemit's impact on the economy and my knowledge. Yes, I say taking part because growing and developing on Steemit requires effort and contributions that are beneficial to the community. Not just looking for their own profit and then just walk away.
I also explained that by joining them on Steemit it could be a new place and means to channel their hobbies and talents in the world of writing literacy. Rewards are just bonuses. I emphasize not to seek personal gain. Money is indeed one of the reasons we contribute to Steemit, but don't let it be the main orientation.
Guiding and Teaching Basic of Steemit
After that I continue to repeat what is Steemit, what are the prospects for the future, how do we make money on Steemit, how to live and survive on Steemit, and the basics of other basic introductions.
I just explained in a friendly manner so that it was easy to understand what was said by @steemitblog in the post STEEMIT - A Guide for Newcomers.
Even though the points conveyed were quite a lot actually for early newcomers, but because they were very excited, I wanted to go deeper into steemit so the discussion widened everywhere. But I like it this way. This means that I prefer them to ask questions and answer questions, rather than giving me bribes, it is all kinds but only a few percent they can catch.
Progress
Until this stage, newcomers who have come have already created accounts and have set up their respective profiles. And I continued by asking to complete Achievement 1-6 tasks which I will periodically notify about 1 task for one day.
Today has entered a month which of course has also entered the last achievement. Here I attach the names of the newcomers and dormant that I mentored to complete the task achievement.
Some of them have not continued their Achievement task because they are still waiting for pending verification from the Greater Team and Greater Helper. But they still contribute to making posts in other communities such as Steemit Nursery, Steem SEA, Build the Earth, XPILAR, etc.

The accounts above are members of the WhatsApp group that I created to follow up members of the Sahara Club Community who have joined. The total number of members of this group is 61 people. Not only the members of the Sahara Club, those who are members of it are newcomers who also happen to be my friends, so I put them in one group to make it easy to mentor them.
So, this is my report on the development of PromoSteem activities which continues by directly fostering newcomers who have joined. Hopefully it will be useful for all of us, especially for the development of the Newcomers Community by @cryptokannon and especially for the Aneuk Seurideng Program by @cicisaja. Thank you.
