Hello dear steemians and friends. This is my first time posting in this community, actually I have no idea that there is such a campaign of promoting steemit. Luckily, I was acquainted with this community through the hard working , kind and intelligent gentlemen and steemians @jassennessaj and @julstamban. Last night was an eventful night because I was inspired to do my own campaign of promoting steemit.

Learning is an inspiration of putting out your best! Indeed, I was really amazed of how we can help promote steemit as a community in my own opinion cares for its members. One of the many works that prove my perspectives, was the first virtual meet up that I attended with a simple yet valuable objectives of helping newcomers in the platform. To be honest, I been in the community for quite a longer period of time but still there are a lot of things that I don't really comprehend and understand much of how it works. Of course, there are a lot of post of how to become effective and successful in the steemit community but I still find it difficult to believed. But, with the virtual meet up and base from their actual experienced somehow I can now gauge that it is not impossible, especially with the kind of promotion our fellow Filipino steemians are doing. Let me put it this way, we are definitely in good hands since @jassennessaj and @julstamban are competent and knowledgeable people that we can ask for help whenever we bump into something that is uncertain. They can provide us with the source of information that we can evaluate as legitimate and can be trusted knowing their personality.

There were a lot of things being discussed in the virtual meet up starting with the beginners guide, but one thing that they really emphasized was the steemit keys. According to them, if want to be successful in the community then follow the golden rule in steemit do not ever forget your password, save it at any means that no one will be able to know it except you especially the master password.

I just wish I have been oriented earlier, way back from the time my wife and I became steemians. I could have done something like writing the password of my wife in a paper and put it in a cabinet. I could have retrieved her account but it was too late to do that, it was all regrets as we missed an opportunity. This time we have learned our lesson, I have saved her password and my password in a very safe place. Anyways, going back with virtual meet up I have also learned the do's and don'ts in steemit especially the used of proper tagging to avoid downvotes. Another valuable information that they emphasized was to be very careful in accessing links as they may be hackers. They also emphasized on the necessity of power up, wherein they talk about the tokens of steemit like steem, SBD, steem power and TRX. Lastly, that I really look forward was the tip on making quality post to be recognized by steem curators. One of our fellow steemians shared to us that if we find the passion of what we do and put it into writing then mostly we will be successful regardless if were upvoted or not. Its more on personal satisfaction of sharing what you can do in the community and earning at the same time. With this we were oriented on the different communities that can cater our desire and interest in our personal life and the steemit community.

A competitive and fun way of ending the virtual meet up was done. There were a series of question and answer that brought out our eagerness to win. In a way most of us bid our best to win some steem but we are all winners in way we filled our spirit with enthusiasm and knowledge about the community. The most important part was knowing other Filipino steemians and building the mutual bonds of reciprocity. Credits to @jassennessaj and @julstamban for sharing the ppt and capturing it through screenshots. I would like to say huge thanks for the invaluable information, and promoting steemit. All thanks to the steemit team and fellow steemians for the unending support.

I'm so glad how the virtual meetup turned out. Honestly, it was beyond our expectation. Presenting to 30+ Steemians is a good start and we're looking for more.

Ps. Nice work on the formatting techniques sir. It's really neat and good to read!
