STEEMIT IS UNLIKE ANY SOCIAL MEDIA OUT THERE, SIMPLY A HAPPY PLACE : MEETUPS, VOICE CHATS, DONATIONS & SO MUCH MORE

Each time I compare steemit to any other social media out there, I simply wonder why everyone is not moving here yet. The core of every social media is to facilitate communication between people which is something each of these platforms have in common. However when it comes to steemit, there is also the added benefit of earning as well. Which is why our promotional message is blog, vote & earn.

I have interacted well with various people on the platform and have gotten to know them well through our various meetups which we were able to fund with the help of our steem allocations. During our first meetup, I learnt a lot from experienced steemians like @oppongk, @nattybongo, @mcsamm and @anaman who were present as we shared our knowledge about the steemit ecosystem.

This was actually the first time I got to meet them but within just a couple of hours, we became very good friends and have kept in touch ever since.

This made it quite easy for us to organize our weekly voice chats as we are now able to put faces to the various voices. We join our telegram voice chat on a weekly basis to discuss pertinent issues concerning our presence on the platform. Here, newbies are able to learn a lot and we are able to discuss our problems and find solutions there.

Through steemit, we are able to also touch lives and support the less privileged in society. This is how we give back to society. We have been able to help fight malaria in various houses by providing them with treated mosquito nets, helped some kids by providing school uniform, supported the children's home in Sirigu and so on.
