A very poor farmer in my village and how that farmer is oil seed plant mustard in his own land. Cultivated and worked hard to convert the mustard into oil and later use that oil for cooking. Now I am going to share these methods with you. I hope you will like them very much. Let's start.

Since Bangladesh is an agricultural country, about 80 out of every 100 people of this country work in agriculture. And the remaining twenty percent people work in different professions. It can be said that Bangladesh is a diverse country. Where people of different professions live together, one class of people are farmers. He works hard on his land and grows various crops and those crops are later used for his food needs and the rest of the crops are sold in the market. He provided the money needed for the next year's crop.

Today I am going to share in the life of one such hardworking farmer. This person is very old and a hardworking person. The main occupation of this man is to grow various crops on his own land, some of the notable crops being paddy, jute, wheat and mustard. One by one a crop in different seasons this person in his land. Today I am going to highlight the methods of mustard cultivation because it is an oil seed. Plant which we all need to use oil in our daily cooking that is why this farmer cultivates this crop very seriously. To grow this crop first the land needs to be cultivated well although this person does not have money to cultivate the land so it is of high quality.

Instead of plowing the land with a plough, he plowed it himself with a spade with his own skill. After the land is plowed, the soil is stormed and leveled with a ladder. Soaked mustard seeds overnight after soaking in water for about 24 hours. They are watered one by one i.e. all the mustard seeds have to be planted very efficiently in their own land.

And this work has to be done very skillfully because if one's planting is wrong then seedlings will not grow from mustard seeds, this is the diligent farmer. He does this very efficiently.Then when all the seeds are planted evenly in the land, the land needs to be irrigated. Then this person brings water from far away and gives it to his land and after two to three days from that mustard seed. The farmer's face smiles when the seedling grows because the farmer is very happy when the seedling grows from the seeds of his own hard work. Then the seedlings grow slowly and these pictures efficiently clear his land of weeds when they don't grow. And this is how the mustard plants grow slowly. At one stage, the mustard fields are attacked by various insects that eat the mustard plants.

Different types of pesticides are sprayed for release. And like this he continued to work hard and at one point the mustard plant started to produce mustard flowers. It looks very beautiful then because the flowers are very yellow in color and very fragrant which can enchant anyone's mind and since then a farmer works harder in his land. After a few days of cultivation, mustard is produced from that flower. Then when the mustard seeds start ripening, the farmer saves the mustard plants from the field and brings them home. After that, mustard is crushed from them and the mustard is separated from the plant. After separating, they should be dried in the sun. So that the mustard seeds are not spoiled. The whole process takes a lot of hard work and long hours which a diligent farmer has to endure. After drying, mustard oil is extracted from the mustard seeds. That method is also very difficult in Jagram region.

After that, these oils are ready for your cooking. And those oils meet his own food needs and sell the remaining oils in the market in the following year. Again he cultivates mustard on his own land. And thus a farmer works hard and grows crops on his own land and with that he meets all the expenses of his family and spends the rest of the money on growing crops again next year.Through this post, I have tried to show the whole methods of how a person cultivates mustard in his own land and transforms it into oil.
