Happy Wedding Anniversary To My Husband And I!
Is two years of God's undeserved kindness in our marriage; I thank God for being part of our marital journey.
Hello house, I am happy to write this post here because it is my wedding anniversary. I have been married to an amazing husband for the past two years, and God has favored us with a daughter during the years; we wish for more to come as we are still on the journey.
During my two years of marriage, I have been through everything, we have experienced misunderstandings together, we have enjoyed the best moments together, and we have gone through many things, so today I will briefly tell you about some challenges we have faced, some good times together, and what has helped us to overcome all those things with love.
Below is the Excerpt from our wedding on 10th December 2022;
CHALLENGES WE FACED TOGETHER
One of the challenges we faced during the past years was financial problems; two weeks after our wedding, my dad was ill and was hospitalized. Imagine us doing our honeymoon in the hospital together 😢 but we were still supporting and encouraging each other.
Another challenge was the financial breakdown; during this period, we ran out of finance because of the naira scarcity that affected many Nigerians, but we still went through this together.
Also, My husband, in his search for money, was arrested wrongly by the police, and we still scale through it, so marriage consists of both sweet moments and difficult moments.
SWEET MOMENTS SPENT TOGETHER
We had the company of families and friends; we enjoyed every bit of time we spent with them.
Our families do support us greatly in this journey, and we appreciate that; our sincere friends also extend their support to us through words of encouragement and sometimes spending time with us.
We also enjoy intimate moments together, we sit out and go on a picnic, we see movies together, work together at home, and help and support each other in all areas, I must say that each year of my marriage is better and sweeter than the previous year, I consider myself lucky to be with such a caring man.
THINGS THAT HELPED US TO GROW STRONGER TOGETHER
The major thing and the most important thing is staying closer to God; allowing God to be a part of your marriage is the best; this involves following his principles in dealing with your marriage mate.
In our marriage, we allow God's principles to lead and guide us; as a wife, I ensure I give my husband the maximum respect he deserves and ensure he shows me the love that I deserve; together, we bring our daughter up in love and harmony.
The next thing that helps us is not involving family members in our quarrels; we quarrel and settle our misunderstanding peacefully without anybody being aware of it, so this helps because nobody is permitted to give us his or her opinion in the way we handle our problems.
