I spent my day at home and devoted most of the hours to commenting and voting on other users' posts, but later I cooked a soup that was special to me and the people in my house.


Therefore my dairy focuses on the food I prepared, the fisherman's soup I will be telling you how I prepare the meal, the ingredients, the steps I took in preparing it, and the benefits of eating the soup.

Fisherman soup is a soup prepared for special guests, because of its nutritional content, the soup consists of all kinds of seafood though some people do not like to put all the sea lobster, they prefer to put some, I don't like to put all the lobster in it too I like to put some.

STEPS


Step 1: Boil water to 100 degrees Celsius, put it in a basin, add enough salt then pour our fresh fish inside, use a table knife to clean the body to remove the odor. Use hot water again and rinse it clean, after which we put it in a clean pot.

Do the same with the sea lobster and periwinkle, then pour in the same pot, season them with salt, pepper, Maggi, and onions, place them on fire, and allow them to steam for at least 30 minutes.

As I said earlier in one of my posts, I like steaming my seafood for up to 30 minutes which is the best.
So after steaming it for 30 minutes, we bring it down.

Step 2: Place the cooking pot on the fire, add water to the desired quantity, and wash our stockfish in it then boil it too till it softens,
I usually add dry pepper and Maggi with oil to my stockfish to give me a great taste. So after cooking it to soften, I add crayfish to it and pour in my steamed sea foods (fresh fish, sea lobster, and periwinkle) stir it gently cover it for 15 minutes.

Step 3: After which I added enough pepper, Maggi, and salt, then poured in my sliced okra and onions. Cook the soup for a while.
Then I added my medusa leaf finally.

Step 4: enjoy your fisherman's soup with the swallow of your choice, or rice.

THE BENEFITS OF EATING FISHERMAN'S SOUP


The benefits of eating seafood are numerous, but I am going to mention a few, seafood gives the body iodine which helps in the prevention of goiter. Seafood nourishes the skin, due to its provision of vitamins A, D, E, and K ADEK to the body. Seafood protects the eyes, prevents night blindness, prevents anemia, and has many other benefits.

Fisherman soup can be eaten with any swallow, or even white rice. You may wish to cook the soup, you will enjoy it, I can promise.


CONCLUSION


Fisherman soup is a very simple and fast soup but at the same time, it is costly and special. So here in Akwa Ibom State, we eat fisherman soup on special occasions.

I had a great day not just because of the soup I cooked but also the way I devoted most hours of the day to commenting and voting on other users' posts.

What is Odusa Leaf in latin?. Hmmm, it looks so spicy to me, but fresh and salty fish, do you eat that with rice or only that soup?. I like to read something original no matter long or short. It is valuable, thank you @blessedbee

The botanical name of Odusa leaf is piper guineense, which is a West African species of piper. The soup looks spicy, but not spicy. The soup can be eaten with rice, but I ate mine with swallow, Garri(cassava granules).
