Weekly Reflections #26: A Fresh Start - What Will You Do Differently in 2025?

Happy new to all my steemit friends, I believe you all are enjoying the first days of this year.
Every new year, we have new resolutions in our lives that will make use even better than last year, I have plans to make this year the best year of my life. Check it out below.

What’s one thing you learned last year that you are proud of?

The one thing I learned last year that I am definitely proud of is never to give up on your dreams.
I have been working very hard since I joined this platform so I can achieve my first dolphin 🐬 but it seems almost impossible for me due to the lack of support I was getting from curators, I almost gave up on my dreams but I was motivated by my mentor to continue blogging and giving my best which definitely payed.

In life you have to suffer to achieve your dream became nothing good comes easy

I never believed that I would achieve my first dolphin 🐬 last year but hardwork and self believe made it possible, I will say that in anything you do always be pessimistic and you will overcome your difficult moments and challenges.

I was very happy because I learned how to keep chasing my dreams no matter the outcome.
Even in reality I kept chasing my dream and it payed off for me as I am currently expecting admission into the University to study computer science I am very proud of myself because in my difficult moments I learned a lot about life.

What key area of your life do you want to change or improve this year?

In my life, I will want to improve my spiritual lifestyle and draw myself closer to God almighty, in this life no matter what we do we should always know that God is the reason why we are alive and making progress.
God created us in his own image and likeness, so I will definitely try my possible best to be closer to him because it will definitely help me going forward in life.

I will change my personality of trusting people. This world is a wicked world, and I have really suffered from betrayal from those that I trusted most.
People I call my friends are the ones that say bad things about me, I was really devastated when I heard about what my friends were saying about me, though it taught me alot and it was in that moment I discovered my true friends.

I have also learned to keep my plans secret to myself so that they will see only the results, last year whenever I tell people my plans it becomes unsuccessful in one way or the other and I have come to realise that many people don't want you to be happy, instead we should learn to keep our life secret to ourselves and work in silence and God is going to make it happen for us.

Are there any habits or skills you plan to develop in the new year?

The skill that I plan to develop thus the new year is the skill of singing. It is said that he who sings well praise twice and God definitely lobes singing especially when we are praising his holy name.
I am a choir member, so this year, i will definitely give my all so I can learn how to sing very well and also assist in playing the instruments in our church.

I am also planning on learning how to install solar panels. This is a very lucrative skill in my country that generates income very well, that is, if you know what you're doing.
The rate of unemployment in my country is becoming more alarming, so it's best I learn a skill that will generate money for me. This way, I can be self-employed and earn a living for myself.

Describe your vision and plan to achieve at the end of this year

My vision for this year is to achieve my second dolphin 🐬 in this platform, this will only be possible through hardwork and consistency and I am ready to give my all to make sure that I achieve this milestone.
Increasing the quality of my content and staying active in the steemit platform is my main aim to achieve this year.

In reality, I want to achieve my long awaited desire to become a member of the Nigerian Navy, i have applied for this job several times, all to no avail.
But this year, I have taken another dimension and applied with a certificate instead of my secondary school results, and I am confident that this time around, God will make it happen in my life.

It is my ernest desire to work as a member of the Nigerian Navy, this is my dream and this year will mark a remarkable day in my life when I will be invited by the Nigerian Navy for a six month training duration once this is achieve my life is settled and I will be the happiest man on earth.
