RE: Are you still commenting?

in STEEM FOR BETTERLIFE16 days ago

Normally,I see it as fun commenting and applauding my fellow steemians post but it's crazy how most of them react to your comments. You will spend time crafting a nice comment on a fellow steemians post and you will end up not receiving any reply which is heart breaking and discouraging.

But non the less,I will always try my best to engage with my fellow steemians through commenting on their post's. Because that's the only way to get more visibility and make more friends on the Steemit platform. There's one thing I have discovered about commenting on fellow steemian Post,it serves as encouragement,it shows that people are seeing you and your contribution to the development of the Steemit platform.

This is an old issue. I have no idea why people do not respond but I believe the main reason is they post and leave. I am 100% that the biggest part of those on Steemit never check the notifications. They simply do not care. We can say it's a lack of time and with you I agree it is. Not for the the receiver but for us the commenter and that's why I advocate for commenters to be rewarded.
It takes a lot of time to comment and if I start with it, it takes me hours and I don't come to writing which does bother me but so does being impolite and not answering as many as possible although that is a hard task as well.

I started with the search for good commenters with team True Colours in September and theremgreat commenters, good long comments, pictures included and they were way better than the average post. During the past months I saw it go downhill and I don't know what happened. Most likely the fact that the enthusiasm of receiving an upvote for a comment is taken away. I can tell you it's a hard job to find them but in average a good commenter is connected to other good commenters. For example if you look at my comments you can see what I write but you can also see who replies.

That is how it works and I can do the same with you. I look at the comments in your account and see who replies and if there's a good commenter or engage between your replies I can visit his account and do the same.

I truly hope the commenters will be rewarded.

BTW I don't understand why many have the time to spend hours on whatsapp or discord or wherever they chat but have no time to do it here. Whatsapp doesn't pay and here is as good as any other place. I must say I found some good friends through Steemit and after years we are still befriended.

The best thing is to write first and next read 2-3 people and comment. In average it's enough since if they reply you have the next day 3 replies and there new posts you will comment on (or you ask someone a question).

I wish you a great Weekend and I hope you won't let yourself be encouraged, simply delete those people from your list. It's what I do and trust me I have a very good memory if it comes to these type of people.

Well,I thank you so much for this piece of encouraging words u just outlined. Maybe I will just do as you said by deleting such type of persons. I love commenting on people's post not just because of the reward but to encourage my fellow upcoming steemian.

But the truth is, when you comment I don't know if they feel too tired to reply or they are feeling too big? That's left for them to answer. But it's best for any steemian to reply when a fellow steemian comments on your post, that way, it's balanced. Thanks for your wishes, have a great weekend too.

You know what? What you just wrote makes a good post. Copy it and add a bit thoughts about commenting and how it feels if you write but and receive no reply and add the different answers from "ok" to "thanks" to the great ones that boost you to continue.

Once in a while it's good to shake up a bit and make people think. Imagine a platform where we can only post and not comment/communicate...
