The duckling drama and Odong-odong (Our Diary, June 28th, 2024)

Because she enjoyed watching, in the end, Fatiya didn't eat much and I finished the remaining food and then immediately prepared for the Dhuhr prayer, while Fatiya continued to watch alone.

"Fatiya... we have to stop watching cartoons, and you have to keep your promise to clean up the toys and take a nap."

"Ah Dad, don't be kidding me, I haven't finished watching, how could I leave Donald alone, he will be sad if I don't watch it to the end."

"Come on Dad, you have to be patient for a moment, I'll clean up my toys later."

The drama about waiting for Fatiya to finish watching continued to go on, but because I occasionally shortened the video without her noticing it, for various reasons, Fatiya finally agreed to take a nap on the swing and as she wanted I was the one who had to wait for her to fall asleep on the swing.

Towards the afternoon, Fatiya demanded to go to Panton, we brought some meals from home for Fatiya, because the odong-odong location was next to a coffee shop. When we arrived at Panton, we didn't go straight to Odong-odong but stopped at several places to buy necessities, including printing photos for the administration of Fatiya's sister's school.

After all our business was finished we sat at a coffee shop near the odong-odong location to eat first. Fatiya ate while playing and continued to chatter about the duck she had wanted for a long time.

When he looked out of the room, the odong-odong had started playing and he looked less enthusiastic because there were no other children. However, Fatiya was finally willing to go up even though no other children had joined her. Even though it wasn't as interesting as if there were other children of the same age joining in, Fatiya was also playing with enthusiasm, but the game had to be stopped because of a power outage throughout the city.

Finally, we were ready to go home, and before that, I had to stop at a shop that sells plastic poly bags for mangrove nurseries. I bought 3 kilograms of plastic bags for seedlings which I will give to the team who will carry out the seeding later. I estimate the number of 3 kg poly bags to reach 1200 pieces. This is enough for the first phase of seeding and the rest will follow. Most of the seeds that will be planted in the area around the nursery certainly do not need plastic because they can be planted directly.

After shopping, we went home and brought some snacks to Sis Ahya and Sis Attura who were waiting at home. All of Fatiya's wishes today were fulfilled and her joy was clearly visible when she told her story to her two older siblings at home.
