Thediarygame for 28/6/2024 || A recovery Friday

It has not been easy taking care of my daughter's health but I'm grateful she is fine. Thank you all my friends for your good wishes, it makes me feel better.

Friday was a busy day for me, as I helped my husband wash the fish pond, getting it ready for the next stocking of fingerlings. So we took the advantage of the power supply to pump water to wash the pond, it took us 4 hours to wash just 2 fish ponds. My husband poured in some bags of salt to the pond after washing to disinfect it.

After 24 hours water will be pump into the pond so the fingerlings will be transferred into them for proper growth.

After that working hours, my hubby harvested a big 2.5 kg fish so we can use it for barbeque for home consumption.

By the time we finish in the fish farm, my baby was already up so I gave her afternoon medications then gave her food. She is a big girl now so she ate by herself even though I tried to feed her, she refused she ate very well, I played some nursery rhymes for her using a mobile device.

I was happy my baby has fully recovered from her illness and she was back to her activities, she is always busy scattering things, turning the house upside down. But it really gives me joy when she is active because I could remember how worried I was when my baby was sick and couldn't carry out those activities.

Caught in the act

I caught her pouring her full tin powder milk and started licking it. Not as if the milk was in a place she can access but she is too smart to use her plastic chair as a ladder to get the milk tin.

Fun time with mum

Each day, I usually set aside time for my baby so I can play and study with her. We played outside so that she will enjoy the natural breeze. By this time daddy was in the kitchen already preparing the babeque

So after playing, the barbecue was finally ready so my brother in-law got some drinks and we ate the fish together. My baby was happy to eat barbecue fish because for a long time now we haven't eaten it and this one which was prepared by her father was very delicious.

Atleast I was happy that after some days I was able to wear a smile on face.
