Life is full of ups and down.

Most times you wake up in the morning to face the reality of life which makes you sad, sometimes you wake up in the morning to feel joy.

Very sad

I like waking up joyful but on this week Wednesday morning I woke up very sad. I didn't really know the reason maybe mood swing but then I tried as much as possible to push it out but I couldn't so I decided to do my morning routine so I can I find joy.

I took part in doing activities that gives me joy in order to activate my happy mood back that morning.

I sang, tried to smile but I couldn't, I prayed and read some comforting scriptures, and that was when I was reminded in one of the scripture I read which says that"giving one happy."

So I decided to make my family happy, I got up and took one fish from my fish pond at home to make catfish pepper soup with white rice for hubby, his favourite meal.

After saving them they were very happy and I was happy as well I regained a smile on my face. So I thought of other things to do and decided to go for shopping.

I shopped for toiletries, baby's items and for food stuff. I didn't really have much to shopped for because I had some food items at home, so I bought the necessary things.

Sweet

I went to a supermarket and picked some necessary things I needed from there and so I saw this candy that is written I love you I thought of buying it for my husband or don't have not given her such a little gift before so I actually want you to see his reaction on receiving a very little gift for me. At least my mind told me that if he should receive this very happy then I will be happy throughout the day so I decided to buy the sweets for the three of us.

While coming out from the supermarket, I also wanted to pick some things from the local market for preparation of stew and some juice for baby. So I picked few items that I needed and some spices and some fruits.

Coming back home I washed those washable items I bought from the market refrigerate the ones that needs to be in the fridge and then stock up other items I bought in their different containers both in the kitchen and in the room.

By this time, husband was already back home to prepare for our midweek meeting. So before preparing I told him I bought something from him he was so happy and then I gave him the sweets.

Giving makes me happy

I was really surprised by his reaction, he was so exited and immediately captured what was written on the sweep and immediately responded I love you too

Honestly, I never knew he will appreciate this little gift that much but then at this moment my happiness was restored 100% as you can see from the above picture. I smile also I was happy that my husband appreciate the little gift that I gave him from my heart.

Before long, it was time to start preparing for meeting, we dressed up for meeting. We took some photograph before leaving to the hall. We also learn another spiritual, encouraging words in the meeting.

By this time, the mood swings has gone and I was very cheerful and useful to myself.

Most times, when we are sad we need to first of all identify what makes us happy then work on it, once this is done are happiness will be restored.

Personally, I find pleasure in giving and it brings me so much joy, most especially when the receiver shows appreciation on it.

So rather than dwelling on the sadness, rather than blaming anyone you choose to because of your mood. I will advise that when you are sad or dealing with mood swings, you should try to do what makes you happy. You need to you need to identify what makes you happy first before you will be able to use that therapy to solve your issue of sadness or mood swings.

Always stay positive and active at all times practice self-motivation and most times you motivate yourself on a regular basis talk to yourself give yourself that motivation that you need to achieve success.

Coming back from the meeting, we talked about lesson learned then we ate our dinner and we all retired to bed to rest.

I picked this line because it gave so many positive vibes.
We own ourself. We understand how we feel more than anyone. And we also know what make us happy
Instead of dwelling on our problem. We should figure out how to get out of it.

It gladdens my heart to see how your sad mood moved from 0 % to 100% (happy mood) in a twinkle of an eye during the day through giving. The 10th picture where you were presenting your gift (the sweet) to your hubby shows how happy you were at that point.

The catfish pepper soup is looking delicious and appetizing at the same time. Perfect meal for the current weather condition ( rainy season).

Is that grated banana porridge for baby’s food? It looks healthy.

The pepper soup is really for the weather and hubby likes it so much.

Giving makes me happy so I was able to detect what I was missing to wave out mood swing and it worked out for me.
