Hello friends is good to be here again after a pretty while, I trust everyone is great as for me I'm kicking strong! Today I want to show you my city in 10 pictures.

I live in the City of Uyo, which is the capital of my state; Akwa Ibom. Uyo is situated in the Southern part of Nigeria, My state is a Major oil and gas production center we have over 1,265,000 population in my city. Uyo is relatively peaceful among the 36 states of Nigeria and it's beautifully rich and extravagant no wonder thousands of tourist trips daily. As I stated before I'm going to show you some places in Uyo City.

PICTURE NO 1: IBOM HALL

Ibom Hall is a government-owned event center, it is a place of pride in my state and a popular landmark in the town. This facility was built during the military regime of governor Abbe. Its shape is like what we called "ikpoto" a native straw hat commonly used by fishermen and farmers in my state as a shield from the sun. Architect Ette of Ibeno designed these state of art facilities.
This hall serves as a prime venue for business, political, social, religious, and cultural events in my state. Ibom Hall is situated in a very safe location.

PICTURE NO 2: IBIBIO MUSEUM

This quote is written on its wall "wherever you are whatever you do Be a merchant of light."

This is a good place to start if you want to learn about the culture of the Ibibio people with lots of artifacts. It has a large expanse of well-landscaped greens/lawns surrounding it. This place offers scenic walkways and a solitary leisure stroll, it also provides a good ambiance for family leisure/ picnic. Ibibio museum is situated in a safe location.

PICTURE NO 3: WOMEN DEVELOPMENT CENTER

As the name implies this is where the vulnerable women, children, Elderly people, the less privileged, and the disabled people are empowered and given protection against those who would have likely exploited them. It promotes gender equality (equal opportunity for male and female children), and provisions are made for these to achieve unrestrained development and benefits equally from any opportunities to project.

Emerald Event center is one of the most beautiful event centers in Uyo, it's a cool and comfortable place to Host top-notch ceremonies like weddings, receptions, seminars, etc. It's spacious and neat it has a 1,000 capacity and has a very good sound system and friendly staff management this place is well recommended.

This is one of the most known malls in my city, where you don't need to travel abroad or to Lagos to buy your furniture and clothing. It is a business enterprise that deals with all kinds of furniture and clothing ranging from babies toys, creams, and babies essential including adult clothing.

PICTURE NO 7: FLOWERS & TREES GARDEN

It's a Government own garden, it breeds special flowers and trees, it's by the roadside, and a paid gardener is always there to attend to any customer who intends to buy flowers 🌺 or trees. They usually help their customers by planting trees and flowers and guiding them on how to take care of them. The garden is so beautiful and I love it!

PICTURE NO 8: GOD'S GLORY MOTOR

It's a car stand where used cars are sold, all kinds of cars with different models are here, ranging from car 🚗 Jeep to trucks, Toyota, Benz, Ford, BMW, Lexus you can name it. They sell clean and affordable cars and can deliver to any place in Nigeria and it's well recommended.

PICTURE NO 9: UNITY PARK

This is the biggest park in my city, the natural environment is top-notch, and its serenity is heavenly, the open field is peaceful and a perfect place for family picnics and meditation. I love it here you can take a walk here and catch the fresh air.

This is one of the high courts in my state, it works with magistrate courts and others and addresses any civic matters and issues at the state level. Its preceding are heard by a single judge.
