The diary game, A day at Doodhpathri,meadows of milk.19 November.

Hello dear steemians, how are you doing ? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your lives to the fullest. Today I am here with another diary and I hope you all get time to read and explore a new day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and explore.

Today morning I got up early as I had received an instruction of reaching far off block Parnewa about 50 km from our block from the Block Development officer. On the occasion of toilet day the deputy commissioner of our district was going to flag off an awareness campaign from the said block and as our boss has the additional charge of that block she wanted us to be present there on the occasion.As she has been assigned the charge of the said block just a few days back she needed us there to be confident enough to tackle any untoward situation.

When we reached the block we got a message that the district collector was going to visit the block lately in the day at around 3:00 p.m. and we took it as an opportunity to finish our arrangements for the said program . As we were left with enough time till the commencement of the program we decided to go to a nearby tourist place doodhpatri which had received fresh snowfall a few days back. We took the shortcut route towards the place and unfortunately for us the road was slippery and we couldn't maneuver the steep slope of the road and the had to return when we were just 1/2 km away from the place.

Before we returned we enjoyed the time there by clicking photographs on the banks of a famous river shali Ganga. The place where we stayed was very beautiful and serene we enjoyed our time there.We captured a lot of Photographs so as to make it a memory. The time there also became special for us because one of our colleagues got the message that he was selected for the interview of Valley's most prestigious exam KAS.

After returning we successfully held the program and then after interacting with the local public and making them aware about use of toilets and the diseases and maladies caused by open defecation. We had declared our blocks open defecation free back in 2019 but still we continuously make people aware about the hazards of open defecation so as to make sure that open defecation is completely eradicated from the valley.

Later after leaving the place we left for a restaurant in Srinagar namely amigos where we had some veg and non veg pizzas. Our Boss prefers veg and we had to order a veg pizza for her which later on was to be eaten by us just because she couldn't eat it all.

I enjoyed our time together in the restaurant ,we left for our places as it was pretty late and after travelling around a distance of 30 km I was back home at around 8:30 p.m. I didn't feel any appetite for dinner and went to my room to go through social media for a while and then sleep.
