The Diary game. From Market Strolls to Late-Night Registrations: A Day of Work and Relaxation
Greetings, dear friends! How are you all? I hope you’re doing well and having a wonderful day. I wish you all good health, happiness, and a prosperous future. Today, I am here to share another glimpse into a day of my life. I hope you’ll take a moment to read, enjoy, and perhaps find it meaningful enough to share your thoughts and support.
I have a habit of waking up early, and I get up early in the morning. After waking up early, I first perform ablution and then offer my prayers. Today, it was very cold, and the temperature has dropped below zero. Stepping outside poses a risk of freezing. After performing ablution with warm water in the morning, I dressed up, covered my head, and then headed toward the mosque to offer my prayers. People had already gathered there and had even started the prayer. I joined and began my prayer. After completing the prayer, I made supplications and then returned home to warm up.
After warming up for a while upon reaching home, I started some physical exercise indoors. This exercise helps me stay fit, and since we consume a high-calorie diet these days, it also helps burn some calories. This routine keeps me energetic and gives me the strength to overcome challenges throughout the day. After finishing the exercise, I had breakfast and then got ready for the office.
The State Election Commission had already released its timetable for the roll revision, assigning us the task of ensuring that every individual in the village who has turned eighteen is properly registered in the electoral roll. In India’s democracy, it has always been a principle that every individual has the right to vote and the right to choose their government. To ensure this, we were given this important responsibility, and yesterday was the last day for this task.
This is an extremely sensitive job because even a minor mistake can lead to significant consequences, which one might have to face later. Keeping this in mind, I worked with great caution and ensured that all eligible voters were registered. Yesterday, I visited the village again to carry out this task and to ensure that only the appropriate names were deleted from the rolls. Deletions are made for individuals who have passed away or for those who have moved out of the village due to marriage or other reasons.
I was busy in the village all day, handling the registration work along with other office tasks. Signing birth and death certificates has become a major responsibility these days due to a change in the procedure. Because of this, many people come to us to get these certificates signed. I remained occupied with my work throughout the day, and by the evening, I returned home.
When I got back home, I was extremely tired and feeling very cold. Upon reaching home, I first had some tea, and then I fell asleep right where I was sitting. When I woke up, I felt quite warm from the heat of the blower, so I stepped outside for some fresh air and spent some time outdoors.
In the evening, I went to the market and met some friends there. I had a few things to purchase, and after finishing the shopping, I returned home. I sat in the courtyard for a while to relax and give myself a bit of relief.
Afterward, I went inside, had dinner, and then it was time to process the registration forms I had collected from people during the day. It took me quite some time to register them online. Once that was done, it was time for me to sleep, and I finally went to bed around 12:30 AM, thus ending my day.
It was all about 18th december 2024.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
