My Momentous Moments in 2024.

Hello my fellow steemians, how are you doing? Hope you guys are doing well. Am so happy to write about this contest that is been launched by @goodybest. With this amazing topic, My Momentous Moments in 2024.

Define the moment(s) by explaining what makes it (them) significant.

One of the the moment I will love to share here is the moment spent with my elder brother @simonnwigwe. He is one of the best persons I have come across as I continue this journey of life.

Since he doesn't stay much with us here in the East due to his work we only see each other once a while. This time he came for something that had to keep him for some months and that was when I had a beautiful moment with him.

Firstly, he took me out because he said to me he wants to have a little time with me before he will go back. We went to one of the best eatery in Abakiliki which is my home capital and then he told me to make an order of what I can finish.

At first I wanted ordering a lot of things but he told.me that I must ensure to finish everything before we leave the place because we are not taking any food home instead we will get something else from the market.

I ordered for rice and chicken with ice cream because that was what came to my mind at that point. I ate to my satisfaction and then we left the place. I really enjoyed that moment.

Tell us what leads up to the moment🤝, describing the background.

Well, what lead to that moment is that I told him bro, you will need to take me out before you go back because I'm certain if you leave now I may not see you again for a long time. He said no issues.

After accompanying him to the board where he collected a letter he asked me if I was hungry and I said yes. So he said I should chose a place where I want to eat and that is when I selected chicken Republic because it is one of my favourite spots to eat. There food are always nice.

Share with us how you felt; excited, fearful, or joyful. Just describe your emotions to us.

It was a beautiful moment I had with him. At some point many person thought he was my boyfriend because of the way we were very free with each other. He is indeed a nice person and fun to be with because he always make sure he puts a smile on my face.

It was a laughter period all through for me because I was really enjoying the moment we had together. He told me a lot.of things and even adviced me on how to become successful in my studies. I really admire him and I thank God I have him as a brother.

Tell us the main decisions or actions you took at that moment.

During that moment, I promised him that I will do my best in my studies and I will never let him down. After sharing his story on educational journey with menu became motivated and I promised him there and then that I will also make him proud.

He was happy when I said that because he told me that it is only when I do well in my studies that he will support me the more. I felt very honoured because having him around made me to see life in a different perspective.

I now know how important it is for anyone to work harder. This is the more reason I have decided to take my Steemit journey serious because I promised him that I will always push no matter how long it takes.

What are your thoughts or feelings about the moment? Does it matter to you?

It is a moment I will always pray to have once again because I learnt a lot from it. Aside from the fun I had and the things I ate I was also able to learn a lot from him. What I discovered recently is that every moment with him is an opportunity to learn something new and I'm delighted I always use the opportunity.

The time spent matters a lot because it is because of the time that I can boldly stand now to write articles on my own without any assistance from anyone. I have learnt a lot through Steemit and all this is because of the time spent with my big brother.

What consequences or changes followed the moment, and how does it affect you and others?

I started seeing life differently. Before now I thought that as a lady it is the duty of a man to always give me money since we are dating or in a relationship but after that section I discovered that there is dignity in labour. The money one makes on his own is far better than what another man gives to you.

Today even though I'm still struggling with the Steemit platform and still learning I'm delighted to say I have something I have worked for. And if for any reason today I need a money of my own I can sell some of my Steem and get the money. I don't have to ask anyone for money again.

So this is the major effect which that period had on my life as a person. I'm enjoying my learning and earning process on the platform at the moment and I hope it continuous this way for a longer time.

In summary, I thank God for the grace he gave to me to master the courage and ask my brother to please take me out. We never had the time to have such discussion at home but going to the eatery together gave us the needed time.

Our discussion yielded a lot of fruits which is what I have been putting to practice till this moment. I learnt a lot and I'm still learning because every day we talk and I ask questions to get clarification from him. He always make my day for me and I'm happy for that.

I know he will read through this post as I have mentioned him severally, I just wish to sincerely appreciate you for your effort towards me and for believing in me. I promise I won't let you down no matter what.
