Steemit Engagement Challenge S3-W3: A little bit of motivation can go a long way by @simonnwigwe || Burnsteem25

Hello everyone,
Welcome to week 3 of the season 3 engagement contest. We are almost rounding up the third season of the engagement challenge and I'm so delighted to be continuous participation in this very challenge. This week the steem for a better life community has come up with yet another great contest that goes with the title 'A little bit of motivation can go a long way,' in this article I will be explaining my understanding of the topic under consideration.

Here in the section, I'm picking the two characters with the inscription Merida (Brave) and The Blue Fairy (Pinocchio). The reason I have picked these two characters is that the words of motivation below it are what I need most at this time of my life.

Merida says and I quote "our fate lives within us, you only have to be brave enough to see it". This means that all anyone will need is seen within the person be it success or failure, it all depends on what the person sees around himself. If you think of success, you will attract success and if you think of failure, you will attract failure. All you need is a positive mindset even when things are not going as planned.

The Blue Fairy says and I quote "always let your conscience be your guide". We all have a conscience and our conscience is the only thing that tells us the truth in life even when we try to lie to ourselves. So this part of the quote is telling us to always listen to the conscience since it can never mislead us.

There is a connection between the two quotes I have chosen above, I.e Merida and the blue fairy. Your conscience needs to guide you to be brave enough to see that faith lives within us. This will enable you as a person to do the proper thing and become successful. Listening to your conscience goes a long way in directing your life activities.

The statement above is very true and the reason is that we all at some point in our lives need someone to motivate us. The journey is not always rosy hence to continue to the end, we need someone to encourage us. Most times things get worst and we may want to give up but a few words of encouragement can go a long way in pulling us to track once again.

Everyone needs motivation in his or her life at some point. Some of these motivations are not because we are quitting but because it helps us to push even harder. Motivating a friend most especially on this amazing platform is all every steemian needs to push ahead. Remember, they saying, votes are not guaranteed is one major thing that discourages people from pushing hard. But little words of advice and encouragement as a comment on their post can go a long way in making them continue.

Just as I have stated earlier in the above question, motivation is important to me as a person because apart from helping me not to quit, it also goes a long way in helping me to desire more success. Anytime I get motivated, I push even more hard for success. Motivation is a tool that tells me that I'm not alone in the journey and before I travel that road, so many have travelled it before and they came out successful. The motivation keeps me going no matter the situation then.

Yes, I do motivate others most especially concerning the steemit platform. The people I motivate the most are the newbies which I recruited to the platform. As a newbie, it is always difficult to continue if you don't have anyone motivating you. So I always find out time to talk to them and also use myself as an example to them and tell them the time taken for me to have achieved the result I have currently. With that, a lot get motivated and keep working hard believing one day they too will make it.

Another motivation is for older users most especially those muted in the academy. Before this time, most people think that they are not part of the academy and they can't succeed but I usually tell them that whichever community they blog to, they will still be successful and today most of them are doing perfectly and very well on the platform.

In other to keep motivating yourself, all you need to do is to set a goal for yourself and work towards achieving that goal. Things may seem tough most times but once you have a goal or a target, you may not be easily distracted. So to keep motivating yourself set a goal and also read other people's testimony and how they became successful and you will be motivated to push more and achieve more.

Motivation is the key that drives people to achievement. Everyone at some point will need some sort of motivation to keep the fire burning. As a steemian, we need to encourage each other through our comments, votes etc. This will help both the new and old steemians on the platform to continue the journey and never give up along the way. Individually, we need to have a goal to work towards it because that is the only way we can push ahead even when the going gets tough.
