Everyone should exercise: My fitness journey!!!

Everyone should exercise!!!

That sounded too straight forward, right? Not too many people will agree with me though. Overtime I've come to realize how important these physical activities are to the human body, and I can't keep calm.

Who else has a different view of exercise, it's funny how I used to view exercising as a strenuous activity for obese individuals who want to lose some significant weight. I was absolutely wrong !!!

Dear steemians,it's been more than a week of consistent workout and fitness sessions 😊 you want to know my honest feedback? IT HAS BEEN AWESOME!!!

To start with, I have a wonderful coach and fitness instructor who just never gets tired. I don't know how he does it but exercising that long hours and staying through till the end of each session feels like an extraordinary power😂. I told him the other day, “I'd taste the abidoshaker that gives you this energy”. He just couldn't help but to laugh. He told me it's not actually some magical powers, it's CONSISTENCY. Of Course consistency in bold letters because that's the core point in exercising. I took those words to mind and became very consistent with my fitness routine.

The first day I started this exercise, I felt very light headed, and had this fainting feeling. It was a terrible feeling that day, I couldn't count how much energy drink I took just to get myself back up. I'll do one small exercise and I'll want to go and rest so I won't fall down. I won't forget that first day!

My coach said it's because this is my first time and the feeling is normal. When I rested and got up I felt a lot better. That point he emphasized consistency again.

Later on, I faced other challenges like getting up very early out of bed to get ready for my routine, transporting myself to the fitness venue with the high cost of transportation in my country, coming back tired and weak and still having chores to perform.

I also have some very wonderful teammates, they are motivation themselves. I feel so energetic around them and they care for each other.

My fitness partners will always cheer you up to do more and you won't even feel it till you see yourself doing more than you imagine. They are also a great support. If I go late for a session, they'd be so concerned and want to know what happened genuinely. They are another family I have. They make the journey smooth from day 1. I love everyone of them.

Amidst this and many more challenges, only motivation and determination kept me going and it's almost two weeks already.

Nobody has an excuse for not exercising. It is good for mental health, physical health and I'll add your financial health too 😊.

Try exercising today for a good condition of your heart.
Try exercising today for your bone health
Try exercising today to boost your physical appearance
Try exercising today for your overall body well being
Try exercising today to boost your energy and stamina
Try exercising today for your immune system function

The list is endless!!!! The benefits are too numerous. I'll keep my steemit family to date on my fitness journey as we proceed.

Do you think exercise is just for a specific group of people? Do you think exercising is stressful? Do you think the effort is not worth the time? Do you think anyone who wants to keep fit can try something else other than exercising? Are there specific exercises you would recommend for someone who wants to keep fit and not exactly lose weight?

Let me know what you think about those questions in the comments section.

Thank you for reading through
