RE: True Colours 2 : Insiden Di Tengah Minggu Ke 2
Once a user of a steemcurator account has abused their position, it's always good practice to change the keys. Whilst saintkelvin has shown some remorse for getting caught, it's not unusual for the remorse to change to anger and for some suspicious votes to reappear.
You'll probably need to contact Joanna to get the updated keys, normally through Discord.
Building upon @wakeupkitty's comment, I simply don't understand either. Users work so hard to get this responsibility. They're rewarded for their work but so often think "just a little bit more". Inevitably in the long term, the more becomes less.
Saintkelvin isn't unique in this respect. Many have been caught before him and I've already noticed another steemcurator nominating family members for their "pick of the week" which of course, I'll be highlighting if they do it again.
It's frustrating, but somehow inevitable. Trust is low again but despite this, I hope you can enjoy the experience once you get access to steemcurator07 again.
Something that did tickle me (Warning: Dark humour)
In English, "True Colours" is a term that can be used to indicate someone's true personality. "His true colors are shining through" suggests that the person is showing their true selves. Ironic huh?
“A little problem but we survived” was the first heading in the report. The original author didn’t survive.
I can't help but I have to laugh at your dark humour. I would say: Bingo or you hit the jackpot. It was my idea (the song) but also meant to show what is living (going on) on Steemit. There are more colours than one can imagine.
The report was not written by 1 person. My share was that part of text although it might have been changed a bit. Let me think about the next one... (I keep thinking of a verse of Agatha Christie about 10 little... ).
@aneukpineung78 contacted via Discord. Let's say it's silent so I will do something else after leaving @xpilar a message. My time is precious.
A great day with some good laughters!

All sorted now, so that's good 🙂
This has made me want to investigate every single curator. Corruption bothers me greatly 😡
How many were there in the past?
Old, new? It is a heavy, endless task but all I hear is that it goes fantastic.
I don't see it and the voting patterns tell me something else. Some guidelines might be good and instructions. For example: what to do, look for, how to fill out a sheet, what to do if it goes wrong in a team, how/who to contact.
It's clear that today it is impossible to curate with a "friend"/like minded simply because they most likely live in your continent or you join the same communities (places where you met).
I find it hard to believe everyone knows what to do if they start curating. I was lucky I could ask curators I knew how they worked and so on and long before that@ o1eh said more curators from Europe were needed. I asked him how he worked.
I would have figured it out, would have used my system of working but with team mates, different people it's harder. Unlike most I visit blogs of those who asked me but I also told a few I will never be in a team with them. For example I was asked to stop moderating to join a team, next it was next month (not happened) which is a sign of lack of honesty
Btw I look at the comments and replies of those I meet or suddenly show up. It's here where you find the true colours. .
Btw I asked several times those who asked me to be in their team to show me some posts they would upvote, I said we should practise filling out a sheet but no one was willing to do so. It makes me wonder how motivated one can be.
There's a lot that can bother one. I search for missing pieces as well (must be my crazy mind) but don't let ot eat you. Have fun as well!

Do you mean scammers who abused their privileges?
I remember o1eh being in our curation team - I think I was in the first team that he joined. It feels a long time ago now.
It did lead me to developing lots of tools. I created accounts like curator-helper which would scan Steemit for active posts, of a certain length, containing certain tags, that hadn't been voted on by a curator already. It would also ignore posts from people I'd blacklisted for whatever reason (normally plagiarism). That's probably how I ended up creating my own interface where I had control over muting annoying content and hiding much of the junk. I had more time back then 😆
No, I mean the moderators, curators bending the rules but if you have a number of scammers (%) I am interested as well.
3 out of 4?
A lot happened and happens unless you close your eyes and ignore. Thinking back I believe it is a long time ago even if it feels nothing changed.
It does as soon as "newcomers adapt, fit in and find a way.
I wish I could develop something but on the other hand it's good for my brain to remember. I believe I would block way more than just those blacklisted besides it's good to keep an eye on some. It's just that I don't read the posts. The comments show way more.
A good day to you and if you wonder why I upvoted it's because you comment and engage.
P. S. Sorry, for answering late.

@wakeupkitty
Goodness only knows. There's a bit more visibility of who gets votes from Booming now but when I joined, a lot of the booming votes ended up in the same wallet. There's still an element of this today but it's hidden better and voting on family and friends is their preferred approach. It just takes longer to unravel.
It's always something to look out for with their weekly nominations - tracing the introductions back often leads to the same individual (often beginning with aa).
The problem for me is that once you notice it again, you see it everywhere. You stop trusting anybody - especially in the Newcomers' Community.

The newcomer's community I better stay away from there. I noticed a few "odd" things which make the bells ring (not Santa's) . It's always interesting to see how someone new knows exactly who to mention and where to subscribe even if a community has nothing to do with their interest.
I already discovered it's an extremely small world if it comes to Steemians. One big "not too happy" family. The result of Steemit Meetings or the promoting teams or is it a Ponzi scheme ?

Joanna has contacted me with the key.
Thanks.
The footnote is so dark, it's like you are from the DC Universe.
