RE: Contest - What is the way to Write a Quality Post?

in STEEM FOR BETTERLIFE10 months ago

What is good to some isn't to others.
You listed some good points but what I noticed is most of this isn't practiced on this platform.

The catching title for example!
Who is it you are writing for? Not one of thr tags used will help outsiders to find your article.
Creativity? I can hardly find it back in what is posted on this platform (do you?), it's the same layout/template used and it's not original how you wrote this.

It can be, no offense, that creativity has a new meaning on this platform but if so it might be good if Steemit shares this with the users.

In fact creativity isn't rewardrd and it looks as if "cutting to the point" isn't rewarded either.

Only those who post photos are rearded for writing a few lines only, if curators know them.

The rest of the users are forced to write a mimimum of words.
The result is the same messages is repeated a few times (did you notice that too?) and the real content of many posts are way shorter i- if it comes to word counting - if the 'hello how are you all - parts are deleted.

From the day on I joined Steemit the question always has been: what is good?

No one seems to have the answer. The question asked (see contest) as it is good but by just ansering questions or follow the steps you wrote down a written text will not automatically be good.

What a writer needs most of all is catching reader's their attention with their words! This is the hardest task in a world where post people do not like to read. Even short text messages are already too much asked. People can simply not concentrate on longer texts.

Just like you I say: cut the crap and come to the point especially if you want to be read on a platform.

You listed some great points.

You are very welcome.
Good luck!

Ehhh this is more like a post under a nother post. I can't agree less with you no doubt. Readers should be at the center of the content writers mind.
