I admit I long for something as well and this year didn't work out the way I hoped for half way 2024.
Not a single Steem for my children to buy them a present
How come I give to others but forget about them?All the languages I was learning (and keeping up with) I stopped.
I like to start again or... I'll see.No summer, no vacation.
It's not necessary to leave but there was no sun and I have a huge lack of it.I found a list of active Steemians I used a few months ago.

Steemit is like the offline world. Good people, bad people. Some come (back), others leave. Sofar it was a good year. @olivia08 my dear friend is back, @patudoh is and with a few I have daily contact outside of Steemit. So I write, I write a lot and I am grateful for the new friends I found.I have a couch!

I've been active, supportive, worked hard for communities not worth my time. I gave up on them and will only do what I like and... can afford and are willing to invest in. It is me, my skills and mytime I invest in a platform that I don't own but we all are a small part of. Look at me, I even post links on X no one cares about.December
Winter won't wait and I need time for me and my beloved ones. I will write, I will engage but give up on sponsoring a part of the contests. Contests are time consuming, at least for and it's time for me to enjoy different sites from Steemit like the commenting side plus I need more time to write.
