Working with Nutbox as an ambassador

Working with Nutbox as an ambassador has been an exciting experience for me.

Unlike the traditional work space, which requires employees to sit within a compound, or slowly moving towards, local remote, the Nutbox ambassador team includes staffs throughout the global.

We have several ambassadors, who lives in the land of north and south America including myself; and majority in East Asian and ASEAN countries. Timing virtual meetings are always an interesting one.

It is a bit difficult to accommodate my Mountain Time differences. I have been in ones around 6AM or 11PM.

Sorry to show all your faces. But you are all good-looking, handsome fellows.

I wonder my buddy fellow ambassador @ale.aristeguieta, who is in Latin America time zones since we have never discussed about. However, he has recently hosted the Nutbox Buddy Program, in which the first session was at 7PM UTC +8. I could assume he is an early bird.

The Nutbox Buddy Program is an education program that aimed to seek to break the barrier between application developers and users of the blockchain ecosystem. Nutbox provides a DAO as a Server platform for Web3 entrepreneurs, DAOs, and cryptocurrency communities to create their blockchain ecosystem without requiring programming skills; and the buddy program tries its way to bridge the technical and non-technical sides.

Our daily operations involve with Discord, Telegram, Wechat, and of course blockchain content creating platforms, such as STEEM. Some of us also are active on other social medias.

And our works are recorded on Notion, an online Excel like documents software that can keep track of projects, tasks, events. As matter of facts, most of all internal documentations are store on Notion.

Discord has a ambassador only channel that we could share our created contents, schedule meetings, and some time, asking questions about their rewards. People need to get paid, right😄? Don't worry, we all get what we deserved. From my own personal experience, there was one time that some one's BSC address was mislabeled under my name, and it was fixed right after my report. No big deal.

Telegram is more of our public facing social media platform. We broadcast quick notifications about our development. This task definitely takes efforts.

I am one of the few only works as a part-timer on the team, others are fully committed as full time ambassadors. Therefore, my tasks are fewer than others; and of course, my rewards will always be lesser as well. I have to shout out for @abcallen here. He is a beast in term of fully committing to the program. You see him in all communication channels and 24-7. Sometimes, I wonder if he ever sleep😁.

One thing I like about the new working methodology, provided by Nutbox is everyone are committed to the team and work we have done. However, we do not have an org chart like a traditional business. We all work on our own tasks, and reward with our effort. Because of the nature of my day job, I only perform a couple hours on weekly basis, but that is OK. Unlike salary or hourly paid employees, we get what we work for. It is like a combination of Binance business model and Wework.

I won't post a screenshot of our WeChat log here. It might contains too much spoilers. We still want to keep some surprises to our customers.

Lots of R&D, discussion about improving the overall ecosystem happened in WeChat.

Like any jobs, working with Nutbox has its ups and downs. The hacking incident happened at the end of last year had all of us drawn into a sadness emotion. I spent my time in Telegram during the off-time of our East Asian colleagues, and trust me, it was not easy to appease our customers; they are furious about their lost, who wouldn't right? We all invested our money and time into the project. Though It was not as bad as what happened to LUNA that shook the crypto world ATM; However, it was still fairly devastating to our core supporters.

Luckily, we overcome the issue and we are back on our feet again with the brand new Walnut 2.0 and Peanut 2.0.

Overall, It is certainly a correct decision to make by joining the Nutbox team. We all have our chances to participate in other area of the program, too. Some one, who is multilingual, can be put on translation team; if some one has more programming skill, he/she can request to participate the development side of the company, etc. We can all do what we love, and get reward by doing so.

For any one out there wonder if Nutbox ambassador position is a fit for you, specially you have a full-time job already. The answer will probably be a yes. the flexible work schedule and motivated team that loves the new Web 3.0 technology can definitely bring a position atmosphere.

thank you.

Excellent article friend. And yes, many times I get up early or work at dawn with the team. At 1 am it's 1 pm for them, so I've adjusted, and it's also an incredible and rewarding experience for me. Although we have not crossed many words, you do a great job. And I think that as a team we grow and advance more and more. This deserves an announcement on our official Discord! Thank you for sharing our experience and work as an organization. A big hug!

Thanks bro, for your kind word. No doubt about or team experience though we don't talk that frequently. But every time was fun in our meetings.

It is just a good place/team to work with.

Thanks for sharing, it was an awesome team :D
