[Poem] December's Embrace

December dawns, a breath of frost,
Sunlight slanting, snow-kissed host.
Trees stand stark in silvered light,
Whispering secrets through the night.

Crisp air stings upon the cheeks,
As frosted rooftops softly speak
Of stories whispered, wishes made,
Beneath the moon's celestial shade.

Chimney plumes in wispy dance,
Carrying dreams on starry trance.
Candles flicker, warm and bright,
Chasing shadows from the night.

Laughter echoes, carols rise,
Love and joy in twinkling eyes.
December's magic, soft and slow,
Melting hearts in winter's glow.

So gather close, let spirits mend,
In this season's gentle bend.
For December holds a tender grace,
A promise whispered in each face.
