A Snowy Encounter: by @jeltr0n
This is another illustration friend of the community @jeltr0n gave me to share on his behalf. I went ahead and gave it some sort of name because the filename is actually "IMG_20180416_102543_278.jpg" which doesn't make for a very good post title.
Up until now I've mostly been sharing the works where he also had some process steps and things like that because this is Steem, and peeps here like that sort of thing, but there's also quite a few stand alone illustrations which is actually more in line with how artists typically share their work online.
What I like about this piece is that even though Ben usually works in a very particular style, he's definitely a versatile and well rounded artist. He demonstrates his ability to go outside his usual style here for something much more painterly.

Wow. I just found out about DLease for the first time from this post. Big THANK YOU for sharing that.
And Snowy Encounter looks awesome. A story to go along with it started coming to mind pretty much instantly. The little creatures' eyes shining from the dark behind the one in front - that's a great touch, love it.
