The first international Catto000 Arena tournament was a success. 20 players from 6 countries (Mexico, Perú, Israel, Austria, Germany, Argentina) met this Saturday, 12:00 pm, Argentina time, to celebrate life by playing this wonderful sport that we love. Here is the final standings of the top 3 players.
The tournament was under the Blitz mode with a tempo of 3 minutes with zero seconds increment, with a total duration of 45 minutes. Mr. Pablo Paris, from Villa Maria, Córdoba, Argentina, deserves a special mention for the help provided in the organization of this tournament. Pablo is a national referee and is one of the most important chess events organizers in the province of Córdoba, in Argentina. Hopefully we can repeat it every Saturday! This is the final standings of the first 10 players.
The first place went to FrankT123, from Lima, Peru, with a total of 24 points. He is 25 years old and he likes chess. He is considered an amateur but he has had achievements at the interscholastic and departmental level, he does not spend much time on chess to know much about openings, but he is a very competitive player as well as self-taught.
Second place for none other than marinarov from Tel Aviv, Israel, Founder and CEO at Smart Learning, a global Languaje academy that uses virtual reality.
The third place was taken by this great little genius Morozcoma, from Mexico, with a total of 12 points. In the photo we can see him with his award medal together with his friends.
