Hi,

I wanted to powerup my steem account on day first of the month because of a special occasion and that it #steempud. Steem power up day comes on 1st of every month. It is the time of powering up and increase the holding of steem which ultimately gives more power on this platform. Staking means more resource credit and more rewards from curating others' posts. People here also give more importance to the accounts which has large staking.

So, I also wanted to powerup my account on the day first. But, I was too busy in my work. So, I was unable to powerup. I got a chance on this Sunday as Sunday is always a holiday for me. I powerd up my account and got a chance to powerup, though rather late. I hope I'll to it in time next month.
