My Writing Space is also My Work Place

Strictly speaking, my office desk is not my writing space at all, because most of the time I write on my mobile phone in different places, maybe on the way to work on a bus, while in the toilet, or when I suddenly think of some sentences that I want to record, I will open a document on my phone anytime, anywhere, and write down what I think. In fact, I also want to have a writing space, but in a narrow city like Hong Kong, it is too hard to have a comfortable and quiet writing space.

I also have a very strange writing habit, I will not finish one article before writing another. I will open several documents on my mobile phone and write several different topics at the same time. Because usually when an article is written halfway through, I often stop because I suddenly can’t figure out how to continue or there is no writing material. At that time, I will turn to another title to write another article. When I have new inspiration for the previous article, I go back to finish the rest of the content, and just jump around in several articles like this. This not only prevent wasting time from thinking too long, but also keep yourself fresh on each topic. Especially when writing a long article, sometimes that will make you numbness. If you force yourself to complete an article at one time, you will not make satisfactory works. How about your writing habit?

Back to the topic, when I have finished an article on my mobile phone and retouched pictures with my mobile app, I will email all the materials to my office computer, and then I will do the typeset and post the article at my working desk during spare time. The reason is that there is only one iPad in my home and no computer. It is not convenient to post articles, and the screen of my office computer is large enough, the layout shows relatively clear and it is not easy to make mistakes.

On the left side of my desk, there is an electronic steam oven. It is used for my lunch every day. As long as I just add some water and turn on the power, the food can be heated within 25 minutes. I haven’t used a microwave for year because it’s poor for your health.

Sometimes, I will use my coffee drip pot from my friend to make a cup of Vietnamese coffee and relax. The so-called Vietnamese coffee is that without sugar and creamer, but only condensed milk is added, and it tastes very smooth and delicious.
