End of Hostility!
Hello everyone, how are you doing today?
I did a piece a while back on anger and how it can be detrimental to people, especially the bearer. I must say that hostility and anger are cooked in the same pot, one may eventually lead to the other. So, when I see the word hostility, my mind flashes back to anger. And this is a horrible way to live.
Hostility is a negative attitude towards others that can manifest in a variety of ways, including:
Emotional: Hostile people may feel anger, contempt, or ill will towards others.
Behavioral: Hostile people may act in ways that perpetuate conflict, such as aggression or irritability.
Cognitive: Hostile people may have cynical or suspicious attitudes and beliefs towards others.
Hostility is often used as a synonym for anger or aggression. It can be a multidimensional personality trait with cognitive, affective, and behavioral components. Link
If you are experiencing hostility or perhaps you exhibit hostility every now and then, it is a bad thing. It affects both you and the bearer, so you are disadvantaged too. You need to turn a new leaf.
Thank you for your time...
