Greetings friends of Steemit and Freewriters
Commenting is responsible engagement. One can express feeling about a post by commenting only. A successful user on Steemit always visit others post and leave comment to encourage, appreciate or criticize the author. One can ask question. It also proof that the post has been read by others which doesn't guarantee from upvote. In many cases people just upvote at random without reading the post for sake of CSI only.
Ofcourse one should follow the guidelines of the social media platform while commenting.
Moreover in general a post become trending based on the engagement of the post which is also dependant on the quality of post.
Commenting improves the dynamics of platform. Moreover one is awarded for commenting and many a times good comments are upvoted by curator team members.
In the process of Task 1 I really enjoyed commenting on posts of my choice. I really attempted unprepared to posts. The words appeared in mind spontaneously and did not find it difficult. Only thing commenting on strangers was little bit uncomfortable. Particularly when one have to be critical about the post. I made a long comment on a food photo post where I not only received answer but also he started following me.
