Staycation

Ready to pack or shall I throw it away? The suitcase on the floor isn't big.
One towel, socks, handkerchiefs, a book, pen, plasters, pills to fight a headache.
My computer doesn't fit in it. That's a problem. How can I travel without it?
It's a desktop computer, an old one but it works fine. Without computer is no fun.
I better stay home, tell mom I got the flu or a headache or worse.. headache she won't believe.
What worse can I make up? She'll say I can sleep in the car just like I did as a toddler.
She says we'll have fun just like always and I better hurry, take a deep breath, and stuff it if not I'll do it.
Okay... comb, toothbrush... no need for a book I don't read. Trousers, shirt, pencils, paper, swimming suit
Towel, chocolate, candies.. I'm ready. No need to sit on it, there's not much.
You know what, I took everything out of it and took my backpack, and jacket with large pockets.
That suitcase looks ancient.
Sorry love, Mom says as I arrive downstairs, the flight is cancelled we won't leave today
Hurray, I think while turning around on my way to my bedroom.
Honey, don't be disappointed, Mom yells, but I don't answer and close the bedroom door with a bang.
OMG, luck is on my side.
