No - that's odd. Sometimes mentions don't work if too many people are tagged (I'm guessing there's a 10 person tagged limit) but replies should get picked up. I tend to look at my replies feed instead of relying on my notifications and I've missed quite a lot of mentions that I didn't receive. Buggy code 🙄
