18 May 2021/ A day in seven sleepers/Yedi uyunalarda bir gün

Hello friends, today I would like to introduce you to a wonderful place that you will enjoy sharing with you and you will enjoy to know.

This is the legendary "Seven Sleepers." It is the place where the stories of 7 people believed to have slept for 200 years in a cave.

Seven Sleepers is located in Selçuk district of Izmir city of Turkey.

Selçuk is the city of Ephesus mentioned in every layer of history and in the Bible.

One of the most important features of this beautiful city is that Virgin Mary House has been hiding in the Bülbül Mountain, where she spent her last years with the apostle John in her small house.

It has been approved by the Vatican as the home of the Virgin Mary and was opened as a pilgrimage center years ago.

Right in front of this mountain is Seven Sleepers cave. You can see these 2 special signs on both sides of the road.

This region, where both the Virgin Mary and 7 sleepers sleep together, always excites and touches me mystically.

Virgin Mary (we call her Virgin Mary) is also holy for Muslims.
There is a verse that is undoubtedly the most chaste of women.
Everyone visits the Virgin Mary and pray in her home in their own language and faith.

And after every visit to the Virgin Mary, 7 Sleepers eat meals and have breakfasts.

Here phaetons carry passengers between the 2 gates of the ancient city of Ephesus. Those who come to visit the cave, specially those who come here for breakfast, and Ephesus and Mary.

Turkish pan cake (pancake) made over wood fire and churn buttermilk are indispensable foods here.

If you happen to be in Turkey, you must definitely visit this mysterious city if you have come to Izmir or Izmir.

Burası efsanevi "Yedi Uyuyanlar." Bir mağarada tam 200 yıl boyunca uyuduklarina inanılan 7 kişinin öyküsünü yaşadığı yer.

Yedi Uyuyanlar, Türkiye'nin İzmir şehrinin Selçuk ilçesinde bulunuyor.

Selçuk ,Tarihin her katmaninda ve Incilde de adı geçen Ephesus kentidir..

Bu güzel kentin en büyük özelliklerinden biri Virgin Mary House'un burada bulunan Bülbül dağında saklanarak ,oradaki kuçuk evinde havari Yuhanna ile birlikte son yıllarını geçirmiş olmasıdir.

Burasının Bakire Meryem'in evi olduğu Vatikan tarafından onaylanmiş ve yıllar önce bir hac merkezi olarak ziyarete açılmıştır.

Bu dağın hemen önünde ise Seven Sleepers mağarası yer alır.Yolun karşilikli iki tarafinda bu 2 özel tabelayi görebilirsiniz.

Hem Bakire Meryem'in hem de 7 sleepers ın koyun koyuna birlikte uyudugu bu bölge beni her zaman mistik olarak heyecanlandırir ve duygulandırir.

Bakire Meryem ,(biz ona meryem ana deriz) müslumanlar için de kutsaldir.Kooran'da " Kıtapta meryemi de an.O
şüphesiz ki kadınların en iffetlisidir"diye bir ayet vardır.
Herkes Meryem Ana'yı ziyaret eder ve onun evinde kendi dilinde ve inancında dua okur.

ve nerederyse her Meryem Ana ziyareti sonrasinda 7 Sleepers 'ta yemek yenir ,kahvaltılar yapılır.

Burada faytonlar Ephesus antik kentinin 2 kapisi arasinda yolcu tasırlar.Mağarayi ziyarete gelenler,özel olarak buraya kahvaltıya gelenler,ve Ephesus ve Meryem.Ana ziyaretinden dönenler , 7 Uyuyanlarda bir seyler yemek istediklerinde bu muhteşem yerde yemeklerini yerler.

Odun ateşinde yapilan turkish pan cake (gözleme) ve yayık ayranı buranın vazgeçilmez yiyecekleridir.
