El Puente de la Purísima (ESP-ENG)

^{El Puente de la Purísima, Monterrey, Nuevo León, México.}

Este es el primer puente del Paseo Santa Lucia y por su color naranja lo vas a ver rápidamente porque es muy fácil distinguirlo, está justo a grandes museos de la ciudad. El puente se encuentra en lo que hoy es la calle Diego de Montemayor, entre Juan Ignacio y 15 de Mayo. Este puente servía como cortina para distribución de agua de Santa Lucia.

This is the first bridge of Santa Lucia Walk and because of its orange color you will see it quickly because it is very easy to distinguish, it is right at the big museums of the city. The bridge is located on what is now Diego de Montemayor Street, between Juan Ignacio and 15 de Mayo. This bridge served as a curtain for Santa Lucia's water distribution.

Hace mucho tiempo corría un río en lo que es el actual Centro de Monterrey llamado "Ojos de Agua de Santa Lucia", pero debido a la urbanización todo se volvió turístico y moderno, hicieron la Macroplaza y el Paseo Santa Lucia.

A long time ago there used to be a river in what is now downtown Monterrey called "Santa Lucia's Water Eyes", but due to urbanization everything became touristy and modern, they built the Macroplaza and the Paseo Santa Lucia.

La obra fue realizada por órdenes del Gobernador de Nuevo León, Simón de Herrera y Leyva, a finales del siglo XVIII, exactamente en 1798. Fuente

Este lugar también sirvió como una defensa militar en la Batalla de Monterrey, la invasión estadounidense de 1846. Había una figura de la Virgen de la Purísima pero fue derribada y el puente se quedó con el nombre, hay una réplica en Palacio del Obispado.

This place also served as a military defense in the Battle of Monterrey, the U.S. invasion of 1846. There was a figure of the Virgen de la Purisima but it was demolished and the bridge was left with the name, there is a replica in Palace of the bishopric.

^{Muros Naranjas, Monterrey, Nuevo León, México.}

Estaba un joven sentado justamente en los marcos del puente, estaba escuchando música y viendo sus celular, entonces decidí tomarle una fotografia. Seguí caminando, para tomar algunos otros ángulos del puente, sobresalen sus columnas naranjas y el diseño en forma de media luna. Las últimas fotografías son del diseño interior del puente. Toda la escritura y fotografías son propias, lo único que está citado es tomado de internet. Gracias por su lectura y por su apoyo.

There was a young man sitting right on the frames of the bridge, he was listening to music and looking at his cell phone, so I decided to take a picture of him. I continued walking, to take some other angles of the bridge, the orange columns and the crescent-shaped design stand out. The last pictures are of the interior design of the bridge.
