My Biggest Travel of 2022 | Nice memories about Trogir from August '22

in Steemit Travel2 years ago

👌 Trogir is a perfect place for an active 🌴vacation ✈️ 🚆 🛳️ 🧳

🤔 It's not really typical of me to apply for contests, because I'm a fan of editorial freedom, so I avoid constraints.
✅ However, when I read @alegnita 's post, precisely 🔗here, I couldn't be resist. 😉

So travel experiences for my dearest ❤️Steemians

Trogir

This trip was extremely memorable for me, because it contained everything that is characteristic of me 😉

Flag of old town of Trogir

  • In the old town of Trogir, thanks to the museums I got 📜 historical knowledge.
  • Trogir and its surroundings, even if there are no friendly bicycle routes, offer plenty of places suitable for excursions for those who want to relax.

  • Anyway, I was joking with the opening 📷 photo above, because I didn't need a 🛥️ boat to visit the beautiful city of Trogir. Believe it or not, my friends, I was able to do this by swimming.

    GastroCrutch-swimming-from-camping-to-Trogir.jpg

Even before the ☀️ summer of '22 , a company contacted me for test a smart watch and, of course, write an article about it. So I didn't want to get on the devil's wagon, like many people who have a lot of electronic devices, but I got a smart watch by company request, and the company really liked my PR article, so finally I got it as 🎁 gift.

In the pciture ⬆️ above, you all can check my statistical result, how I 🏊‍♂️ swam nicely from the geographic point of Amadria Park Camping Trogir, Kralja Zvonimira 62, 21218, Seget Vranjica, Croatia to the old town of Trogir.

The real distance on 🦶 foot is 6.2 km, but the fact is that I was able to reduce part of the distance due to the variety of coastlines.

Since the smart watch is suitable for payment and I could use my favorite 🔗Curve card with it, so practically all existing bank cards, I didn't need anything else, so I showed up in the clock city of Trogir in a bathing suit, approx. like Tarzan 😄

✅ Of course, I spent the most wonderful trip of
    2022
    with my
    son in Trogir

    with-my-son-Daniel-Trogir.jpg
I think my sweaty forehead proves that the trip to Trogir was really about active rest for me 😂

    bike-or-walking-road-Belvedere-Camping.jpg
The road to Trogir from Belvedere Camping

As I mentioned, Trogir and its surroundings give to us are countless attractive places for excursions, but as you can probably see from this photo, if you want to go by bike, you should definitely choose a bike with very thick wheels. It is most ideal if the bicycle wheel is as thick, as a scooter's wheel. The coastal areas are beautiful and I promise you it's a pleasure to cycle there, but you need the right bike.
I really do not recommend anyone to use the auto roads for cycling in Croatia!
The serpentines unpredictable bends, so dangerous, and it is characteristic of Croatians, as a southern population, that they like to use the gas pedal and horn 😉
I cycle a lot along the beautiful wooded beaches. As long as I do sports, which is the basis of health, I can see diverse landscapes, which will be the basis of my old age nostalgia, and meanwhile it is absolutely true that my lifestyle is my income. Two weeks ago I wrote something about this topic, as 🔗 XYO ⛏️ GEO mining.

💸 What should you pay attention when you traveling to Trogir, what can be expensive❓

Well, life is basically expensive, but regardless of the travel destination, I would like to mention the tricks of that certain non-existent power that is working hard to keep the Corona virus and its variants keeping in people's minds. I only say this because
the potential loser is always tourism
, but in the end, if you are not smart at it, you are the loser.

That is why I advise you to travel anywhere, book accommodation in the big world anywhere, never pay in advance and make the reservation with a virtual disposable bank card❗

💸 What should you pay particular attention to in
    Trogir
    or whole
    Croatia?

  • Try to explore the larger shopping centers, that's my favorites: Konzum, Plodine, Tommy.
    1. ✅ The smaller shops, markets, close to the coasts, blatantly take advantage of the situation 😊

  • You can often see older aunties or even uncles on the side of the road, all of them smiling and offering the really mouth-watering fruits.
    1. If you buy fruit from them, for example 🍑 peaches, 🍈 melons, 🍎apples, they immediately give you a bunch more fruit and say out loud 🔊 „
      GRATIS, GRATIS, GRATIS
”. Then, of course, when you pay for what you bought, you realize that you paid four times more than if you had chosen one of the larger 🛒 shopping centers. And in addition to the fact that their offer is nothing more delicious, it is not even chilled, which is usually would be a nice feeling in the heat. Don't misunderstand what I wrote. I am absolutely not in favor of multinational shopping centers based on decadent Western foundations, but which otherwise exhaust the resources of a given country to the extreme. But if you a tourist, a foreigner, it is not you're task to support the locals, it must be done by the people of the country themselves. Your job is to be able to spend the money you set aside for the trip in the best possible conditions and in a profitable way. In my own country, for example, I always buy from aunts and uncles like these I mentioned, but when I'm abroad, I'm understandably guided by other considerations, and that's all I can advise you too.

🎙️ Let me speaks to you all in 📷 photos about the
    old town
    of Trogir

    Old-Town-inTrogir-narrow-streets.jpg

I like the culture of southern cities, especially the narrow streets typical of Arabish countries. The scarce of the street is not only atmospheric, but also has a very useful function. The streets were designed to be so narrow so that the buildings were as close to each other as possible. And the purpose of this is not only conscious space saving. It is characteristic of southern peoples that they are very good at different shading solutions when designing the buildings. The 🌞 Sun is a friend but also an enemy, so southern culture learns effective ways to defend itself. By the way, lady in the photo really impresses me in violet color, not only the cozy street, but that's a side note 😄

Trogir is similar in many ways to another charming town that I also really like, Mali Lošinj. The difference is that Trogir can offer more antique experiences, while Mali Lošinj is more modern. If you all will good boys and girls, I will also tell you about Mali Lošinj in the future. 😉

🎞️ Slide show of old town

    🛌 How did I book the accommodation❓

Well, I usually go with a camper, so I never have to book accommodation in advance 😉

And, of course, I always make sure that the camper also has a great, exclusive view.

    landscape-for-my-camper-byGastroCrutch.jpg
My camper definitely deserves this experience if it's already carrying my butt 😂

On the other hand, I have observed that the majority of people are bored with camping life, and this is quite simply because they are lazy, and would rather prefer when they are served. In the end, this is not such a big problem, in their case there are countless apartments and hotels available, but I recommend booking them with an accommodation reservation system that is crypto friendly.

✅ An example is travala.com ➡️ There is no better feeling than when you can create the basis of income generation directly in cryptocurrency, and at the same time you can find services where you can spend your earned cryptocurrency directly,
    without investing in FIAT currencies
. 👏Somewhere true freedom begins here.

🤔 Why can visiting Trogir be a unique experience❓

  • UNESCO protected medieval city centre

  • Trogir – the goat town
    1. Goat?! What? The historical analysis of the name Trogir reveals its great secret. The history of this old town is closely linked to the nearby Kozjak Hill. If I take the literal translation as a basis, it's a goat hill. 😊 And to this comes the deep knowledge that I know for sure that Trogir was the center of goat herders back then.
  • Kairos, the Greek god of the happy moment
    1. There is an abandoned house in Trogir, where the Kairos relief depicting the god of the happy moment was kept. You can see this now in the St. Nicholas Church.
  • You learn about important artists and public figures related to history of Trogir

  • Range of old wells
    1. There are more than 50 well around Trogir. In fact, these wells also represent the supply of drinking water for the locals. The wells are fed by the Pantan River.
  • Story of king 👑
    Bela the IV
    and his hideaway in Trogir
    1. Among other things, this old town hides the secret of this. You just need to be able to look at the world with the eyes of a historian. Feel free to ask me who IV. Béla, I have to know, since I'm Hungarian. He was a Croatian-Hungarian king and, by the way, found refuge here from the Tatar invasion. As an interesting point, the IV. King Béla's daughter, St. Margaret, whose grave was for a long time in Budapest, Hungary, on the Island of Rabbits, you may heard about this mentioned island as Margit-Sziget in our days.
  • First pharmacy in Europe
    1. October 29, 1271
was a significant day. The 1st pharmacy in Europe open its doors. The pharmacy no longer operates in its original location, but what is available today is based on these foundations.

  • Gastronomic heritage
    1. I wouldn't be @gastrocrutch if I didn't tell you about it. In my opinion,
      Tatjana Ciciliani
is the person who most intensively maintains the culture of local traditional dishes. You can read a little about it in English 🔗 here. This lady was the face of Croatian cuisine in 2014. Like most places in Dalmatia, Trogir is proud of its culinary heritage. With various historical influences ranging from ancient Greek and Roman to Venetian and French, Trogir cuisine has always had a Mediterranean heritage with various international influences. Famous local dishes range from various fresh fish dishes to pašticada (a traditional Dalmatian dish) and traditional pastries - ravioli (often found in other parts of Dalmatia as traditional pastries).

💭 Finally, I would like to ask one or two of my fellow editorials, did I manage to inspire you? Obviously not in the subject of contest joining, I think the deadline is tomorrow. I would rather be curious if, after actually reading my article, if it would be affordable for you, would you take a trip to this beautiful city with a historical past,

☑️ which I mark as my
    TOP
    travel experience in
    2022?

Mentioned users in this contest ➡️ @hotspotitaly @ponpase and @xpilar – I don't know xpilar, but he seems to be interested in the photos, theoretically 😉– @lichtblick, my friend, I am very interested in your opinion, because I know that you live and die for such particularly short, readable posts like the one I had write here 😂
